You know, From things dropped by Mark Evaner,I beleave,on the matter, they guy who ran this club was a slick crook, who was a master con artist. I recall in the December 1971 cover dated marvels, their first 20 cent issues, when they made a small announcement in the bullpin page, the club was no more.i dont think they ever gave a answer in any letters pages, just why it was shut down.I suspect that many fans who ordered posters and such after may of 71, never got what they ordered,or a refund.
