I knew Oscar from backstage after a gig with Flaco and Max Baca. To talk and drink with him was like talking to a brother. R.I.P Oscar!!

Yes, I am very sorry to say..our good and always humurous, Oscar Tellez, died in an auto accident, outside of San Antonio a couple of years ago. He was a great guy and outstanding musician..he could play just about any instrument. And was good at anything he played. A great loss to his friends and the music world. HIs brother,Ruben , is still performing in San Antonio, With his own group.
