i used to live in san jose which is about an hours drive from mendocino county. i went there with some friends before and the people are absolutely pathetic!!!!! ive personally seen, with my own 2 eyes, marijuana deals go down. luckily i live in my hometown of okc now so i dont have to worry about shit if california legalizes this poison....

If you pass the course then your fine and can continue with sports and extra-curricular activities, but if they catch you again you get suspended and can't play in sports or anything for 365 days. But if when you get called for a test you deny it, they make you call your parents then you can't do anything for 365 still. I personally think its unreasonable search and is against my rights.

@aseop22 Uhm get your facts kiddo - DEA has more of an authority over marijuana than state does - its a FEDERAL law that its illegal (seen in the government eyes its a schedule 1 drug - meaning its illegal on all scales) just because a state legalizes it doesn't mean the federal government will acknowledge it - they will continue to ruin crops - until its taken from Schedule 1 to schedule 2 (same category as drugs with medicinal benefit)

@sykosyn actually the "law" is not a law at all because it is in direct violation of the constitution, but of course that does not stop the criminal DEA from stealing from people and ruining lives. The cops need to stop following ILLEGAL orders to erradicate marijuana. Each one of them swore an oath to defend the constitution, not illegally circumvent it. They should all be ashamed of themselves and should be jailed for theft of property and for the kidnapping of cannabis users and growers.

I'm not trying to get down to the nitty gritty, cause you right even caffeine is dangerous and someone can die from an overdose of that.. All that being said, the point I want to get across is that Marijuana isnt as bad as the government leads us to believe, and most people who think its soo dangerous are brainwashed or just clueless. i used to live in san jose which is about an hours drive from mendocino county. i went there with some friends before and the people are absolutely pathetic!!!!! ive personally seen, with my own 2 eyes, marijuana deals go down. luckily i live in my hometown of okc now so i dont have to worry about shit if california legalizes this poison....

i have to say, i'm a born and raised Humboldt local, and of the 15,000 people in my town, there are over 9,000 215 cards. in a one block radius, there are over 6 headshops and another 4 grow shops.
i know that Mendo and Sonoma are big pot counties, but in Humboldt i believe that there is a bigger pot scene and bigger production of the herb.

I think the only side affect i would consider "dangerous" is the desire to raid the cupboards till you can't physically eat anymore, which could lead to obesity etc...Nothing a good bit of exercise won't take care of. TBH you should be concentrating on cigarettes or alcohol, they cause more deaths/year than any other drug/illness on earth. Deaths by weed = none. Proven facts ppl.

@Hipster420 Well if you test positive they send you to a month long program and drug test you every week. If you pass the course then your fine and can continue with sports and extra-curricular activities, but if they catch you again you get suspended and can't play in sports or anything for 365 days. But if when you get called for a test you deny it, they make you call your parents then you can't do anything for 365 still. I personally think its unreasonable search and is against my rights.
