I'm wondering if the people who say "do your research" actually go and study every song they have ever found in case it might be differently named or be remixd by someone other than who they were told it was. I also found it under the portishead name and wouldn't have found it again on here if someone hadn't put up the "incorrect" name.
It appears that all they have done is take the original and slapped some bongo rhythm to it, its sounds good but I doubt much thought went in to this, also the start is awful! Why most people, even Portishead, mess with the perfection that is Bjork
Indeed, this is the Deodato mix, and I like it better than the original because of the orchestration, a Deodato speciality. (okay, I ALSO love the original, with the little noises and beeps from Nellee Hooper's production)
@Apogee777 because they know portishead will get more hits/views. I am not exactly sure why people care about hits unless you have some kind of business incentive. I think kits juts deep insecurity and these people somehow feel liked or popular. this is unfathomably pathetic and widespread on youtube and i have been trying to understand it for a long time. all the time I am brought to videos that are not what they say. just sad
@obed3113 "Domo arigoto mr. Roboto for uploading that data to my main frame bleep bloop new information acquired bleep bleep bloop" i can talk like a robot too!!!
Yeah Deodato, not Portishead. It's also on the original Isobel single, can't remember if it was CD1 or 2) along with a couple of other remixes (Siggtriplet Blunt mix, & Isobel's Lonely Heart mix by Goldie)
isnt the bjork like the little worm thing that crawls into your ear and controls your brain cause thats what happened to me...

This sounds nothing like anything Portishead would do, hahaha.

I blame the remix label on Napster -- that's how it appeared to me back in the day until I was properly educated.
