it doesnt work for me. i do the exact thing you do. then when i open gimp and take a look at my gimp brushes i just have the same default brushes every time

if thats happening open up the file you have your brushes in..... select all then copy them.... go to your administrator file. a gimp file with show up (gimp then your version) click that. then click the file brushes. past the brushes in there. when you open up gimp or restart it your brushes should show up :] hope that helped

The brushes you can use like the new galaxy design. You can draw with them, but it's more like a stamp. I luv the new doodle ones ^_^

I don't think you can. Go download GIMP 2.4 It has a brush size adjuster built in.
