One of the best made space pseudo-documentaries ever made. The CGI is absolutely marvellous, better than in most feature films. The opening shot of Pegasus would be indistinguishable from reality if we had spaceships like this :-)
getting to mars is alot harder than just flying there. Astronauts are going to have to deal with problems up the ass, including: Radiation, mechanical failure, supply shortages, Klingons etc.
@MikkkkyB Actually, it is the right order. I too would first go to Venus, then to Mars, because from Mars, you can pick up more speed than from Venus when heading to slingshot around the Sun.
If they faked the moon missions, it's possible that they faked the Mars missions too. Do a YouTube search on "MarsFaker".
Google "The Naked Scientists". Go to the "New Theories" section of the forum. There's a thread entitled "Did We Land on the Moon?". On page 15 there's a summary of moon hoax evidence. It's the seventh post from the top.
maybe stavros at easyjet could help us out getting there. Make a great destination for bachelor parties....My worry is the amount of shit youtube vids sent back saying woooo hooo look at me i am on mars....
From the look of This video I am suprised we hav nt sent humans to Mars. After the Moon sucess humans should planed for mars.. I say by now from 60's to the to about 2000 there proably could have been a small colony on Mars by now. But theres no motivation or strong of enough initiative. And thats proably cause of Government
it's simple really. Humans are too expensive and too frail (under current technolgies) to send to Mars. Add to that it is enormously expensive to send them and the U.S. has blown a butt-load on the Iraq War. Add further to that, and humans start missing home 2 days into their mission, and wouldn't stand a chance in a two year mission. Add even further to that, we've lost collectively 50% of our probes to Mars, so it is extremely risky to send humans there.
They could just send some people that would otherwise die of terminal illness. If the states pulled out of continuous war, the same money could fund a human trip to Mars.
That sounds extremely risky to me. How would you know that they would be able to complete their mission? And I would just like to say, DAMN the person that gave me a thumbs down. That was an insightful comment, and I'm sorry they are so immature not to listen to opposing viewpoints.
