Ok, I searched for videos to learn welding basics. I found this video which is talking about cutting and not welding. Perhaps they are related but you are assuming that the viewer knows welding terms already. Using terms of a craft without explaining what they mean (AT ALL) or what their purpose is, is the first fallacy of teaching. If I knew those things all ready, I would probably not need a part one learning video.

Unfortunately, I learned nothing from this video.
