Yes Tony is in Branson. Yes he does not move anything like Elvis. In the beginning he was with Legends here in Branson and did very well and did not do all the moves you see here. He since left legends to do his own show so he could do his own songs. He has said when he was at legends that he never let the character go to his head. Somewhere along the line he has allowed it to go to his head and no one seems to be able to let him know to tone it down a bit.

Talked to a lady the other day who said she and a group of women went to Branson just last week and thought they would attend his show. Five minutes into his show, they walked out but before leaving out the door, he hollers from the stage "sorry it wasn't your thing". Her girlfriend flipped him off...LOL.

@MrLastshow Of course it's my opinion - I wrote it. I'm sure Tony Roi is a very nice man judging by some of the comments. However, he is doing Elvis Presleys legacy no favors by this type of act. Elvis Presley was a very talented man but people have seemed to forget all about that talent because they are bombarded by these tacky,almost comical impersonators. Elvis was unique in every way and I have never seen one of these guys who came even close to what Elvis had. Uh,hu,hu!

@MrLastshow I think it's actually the opposite. The impersonators actually make Elvis' legacy a running joke because they look and sound ridiculous! This guy was dressed in a jumpsuit and was trying to do moves that Elvis did in the sixties(none too successfully). It's easy for these guys to copy Elvis' least creative period because they don't have to do anything except put on a jumpsuit and sing in a silly deep voice. Elvis NEVER sounded like these people(thank goodness).

Met him in Hawaii sometimes between 1996 & 1999 (while stationed there in the Navy) & he was a nice guy, even introduced me to the audience. Anyway, back then I told him he'd make a great Tom Jones with them moves...really not the kinds Elvis did much of...wonder if he's ever done Tom ? (:

Wow this is awesome, when was this recored? I'm guessing the early to mid 90's. Tony was the bomb then and still is! I know he likes to do his own thing which I admire and respect, but it's still kind of cool to see he can do the more traditional EP style gyrating. Not saying I don't like his own, lord knows it's like a dinner bell when he movies his pelvis, and the same thing with EP. Just fun knowing Tony knows some of EP's moves so when I finally see him he can teach me them.
