Good if they look the same. I can identify with someone who looks like that. Instead of someone wearing a Polo looking at me like I'm a piece a shit. Fuck them!
man you are fucken stupid i have been around the scene since 85 and they all look the same give your head a shake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dchc for life
I might look like other people by the way i dress, but i could care less, cause its what i feel comfortable in and i like it. People are stupid and ignorant losers.
With all truth, I wear my hoodie because when I do I fell bullet proof, I dont run away from nazis, I shout at the face of society, makes me fell confortable and secure, and I know my friends got my back, and thats why I wear a hoodie that proudly says StraightEdge Hardcore.
tattoos and shirts show your loyalty to the hardcore scene and the bands. Thats why everyone looks like that. You don't have to look like that though, it's just that commonly hardcore kids wear jeans and shirts because its not about style.
who the hell cares what you wear if your at the show and in the pit thats all that matters go the rock the F*** out and have one hell of a time you will shortly realize that once you start jammin you dont even realize what any one is wearing cause it dosent matter
Dude may hav on a tux, but he still prob gonna b in the pitt. Its not what you wear is what you do. It dont go down like that at no HC show, its bout unity
On the subject of fashion. The "fashion" is a derivative (at least in the Midwest) from the clothes worn to make moshing/dancing easier and safer. All we wear is a good pair of sambas/vans low cuts, camo or gym shorts, tank or tee, and maybe a cap.
Stop to talking about the how people dress, is just a way to difference it, if i'm raper i'm gonna dress with one kind of jeans and t-chear, if i'm hc is just the same, is a way to be different, so fuck off and enjoy this music!
I too believe that it is not about the clothing, but i find it a bit funny that bands like H2o and sick of it all talks about HC NOT being a way of dressing, and still they all look like the 'archtypical' NYHC person...
Not saying they shouldnt dress as they like, but try to listen to fx. H2o's What Happened, amnd SOIA's step down...
Some good memories of this band. Saw them in 96 with Murphy's Law, and no one knew who the hell H2O was yet. Cool guys too, hung out and chatted with Toby for a bit
dude.......at CBs you could wear WHATEVER YOU WANTED, so everyone here needs to shut the fuck up about this whole fashion argument. I remember going to CBGB matinees after work at Vincent's Cafe in manhattan with a blazer and a button down. nobody ever bothered me. stop being so concerned about nonsense scene politics. you are showing that you care about fashion by even discussing it.
@ekimusman2 CBGB's and fashion should not be in the same sentence. People in NYC don't give a fuck what you wear so as long as you flash money for beer, food, or drugs.
omg! I was fuckin at CB's for this shit! I was like 17 yo! LOL memories. and whoever said hardcore doesnt have fashion is talkin retarded. Hardcore kids have a "look"...I can point one out FAST. NOT having fashion is having fashion.
I'm a hardcore guy, grew wit the stuff, met this guys, Murphy's Law, MadBall, Fahrenheit 451~!~ The best! Don't fit stereotypes ! F-off! Easy Up, Easy Down!
XD So many people on here can't spell for shit! And its frankly quite amusing. But anyways.
H2oO is sick.
Hardcore music is sick. Boots are gay in my opinion. And no matter what you wear it doesnt make you more or less hardcore. And im sorta contradicting myself by saying hardcore is not a style. Its a genre. Same with emo. And emo is not short for emotional so if you believe that bullshit go die. Thank you. Goodnight.
Only people who don't know what real hardcore is listen to this junk. Tattoos and basketball jerseys don't make you hardcore, they just make you look like a fool.
so why does every hardcore muthafucka look the same? why the tatts, baggy jeans, hoodies, attitude? cos your just copying your idols ya fuckin sheep. wear a fuckin tux to the next agnostic gig and see how many hc fuckers who supposedly don't give a fuck about fashion hassle the fuck out of ya. see ya there comrades.
stupid fuck. do you know why they wear baggy stuff? its because it is easier to move around and kick your face in em. i aint saying that a lot of "hardcore" fans today arent posers. most of em are posers trying to act gangsta and stuff. im not even a hardcore devotee. i love all kinds of music. i wear fuckin flip flops to shows. u cant mosh around in tuxedos rite? its stupid. so think before u say something like "wear an astronaut suit to the next madball gig" or sumtin like dat. fukin lowlife.
@flyspeckjiggle BULLSHIT, back in the day the lead singer of a band called Section 8 wore a 3 piece suit and got mad props form the crowd to the other bands. it was a 8 hour show including All Out War, Innerdam, Beneath the Remains, Fury of Five, Hatebreed, etc. I've never seen someone get picked on in the pit for fashion, but saw a punk in full wardrobe get hassled by free loving hippies at a Dead show.
@flyspeckjiggle baggy jeans and hoodies? that's probably the least "fashionable" thing to wear. i guess if wearing normal clothes makes them conformists, you're right. hardcore has always been anti-fashion, and if you ask me normal clothes like jeans and a hoodie definitely fit the description. and as for the tats, who doesn't have tats anyway?
@NateCola, I agree, but for the tats, I come from Norway and if you have tattoos here ppl will look at you like a criminal, motorcycle gang etc. It's demonized to some point.
In theese days ppl always try to put all people into different "boxes" "ah, he have long hair and wears a slayer t-shirt, he is a satanist" etc etc. I choose not to care about what people think of my clothes and stuff, but if someone try to fuck around about it, or disrespect.. that pisses me off.
@flyspeckjiggle Why do punks dress the same? hip hoppers, metal heads, ravers, rockers, jazz mother fuckers, blues mother fuckers? it's just what your into who really gives a fuck? unless your into it just for an image. Street culture and streewear is gonna go hand in hand, but at the end of the day if someone is gonna judge you by what you wear thats wak.
@flyspeckjiggle i think that has to do with the old & the new, same as that most hardcore more sounds like metalcore these days. hardcore changed and so did the fans, the real family bond kinda dissapeared at concerts, ofcourse you got the die hard fans who still got that bond, i just wish more people went back to that.
@flyspeckjiggle i think the younger generation (teens) are more concerned about "hardcore" image, when thats not even hadcore at all. its about the music, not your hat or fringe...
@BritishBrummie yeah i dont mean ALL teens dude, just those who spend heaps of money just to look cool in all the latest gear and look the same as everyone else. Kids that dont even look like they're even watchin the band, too busy textin on their cell phone or just look shit bored can fuck off and dont come to shows...But you kids out there that do get into the music, support hardcore, know the roots of hardcore, and mosh your arse's off at shows...i give you the thumbs up!
@flyspeckjiggle why does everybody its arguing about how they look, that doesn't matter if your'e playing honest and true hardcore like H2O and so many many other bands?so what they have to wear to make you happy?
@HxC4life11 "the look goes well with the attitude" HAHA what a tool. i mean, you're all tools for arguing about fashion but that comment was great. its spelled scene. you know, like the actual word. scene. "sceans" what the hell does that mean. "seguls" seagulls. the red line under a word means it's spelled in correctly. tard. since when did studded. have 2 d's and two t's. if the look goes well with the attitude, you must be some kind of rebel because it doesn't seem like you go to school.
@flyspeckjiggle lol, everyone in this video is wearing regular old jeans, if ur gonna talk shit, at least open your eyes before you open your mouth. like he said, 100% music 0% fashion. passion before fashion
@flyspeckjiggle yeah man i agree, im some what of an HC fan myself but no matter what genre of music you go to, they all dress the same... emo- skinny pants band t's
@flyspeckjiggle so fucken true. random long haired metal head came to one of the hxc shows i was at completely just headbanging in the pit and i have to admit looking like an idiot. dudes purpously pointed him out and beat the living shit outta him. when all he was doing was feeling the music just like everyone else :(
@TrittinsGesicht true true. those people givin shit about fashion in hardcore are just as gay as tokio hotel fans.. if tokio hotel fans have got the same attitude as these shitheads the'd be going to hardcore shows to beat up all the hardcore guys for wearing hoodies and shit. hahahaha "hardcore" people today are so gay. for those who are true and dont give a fuck about fashion. i salute you
@flyspeckjiggle That kinda makes those guys suckers, Why do people even give a shit what someone wears. Id give someone a high five and a fucking beer for wearing a tux to a Hardcore show
@flyspeckjiggle actually when agnostic front played in my city no one gave a fuck for what you wore or who you were, it was all unity, i was surprised, but it was beautiful.
@flyspeckjiggle I agree with you...But at the same time I disagree...I think that "Fashion" is considered looking like everyone else would like to see you and what the latest trends tell you...We all have a "fashion" but it's important that IT would be your own "Fashion", something that you feel comfortable to wear...Something that you like not something that the latest magazine considers as Hip and cool...Fuck that...All to his/her own...Weat what you like and look what you like.
@flyspeckjiggle why i wear baggy jeans, because they're fucking comfy, and don't restrict my legs. i wear band hoodies and t-shirts because i like to support and advertise my favourite bands. why i have tatoos, because there are something in this world that mean that much to me i want them inked on my skin forever. although the tux idea is fuckin A. i may try it one day
@flyspeckjiggle i can say that im hardcore and i wear regular jeans their not bagy loose just regular and i wear american eagle shirts and shit like that and nobody ever hassles me
@flyspeckjiggle Saying tattoos make you a sheep is farthest from the point as possible. If I got exact tattoos as a band then maybe i would be sheep, but by the context you are using it, I guess we are all sheep because we all have one thing in common, whether it is we wear shoes, pants, or hell even breathe. you cant pull a half assed similarity and lump people together. that is what they call narrow minded
@phenson757 i gotta agree with you on this, but @flyspeckjiggle has a point too. "what happened?" points it all out but ironically they alll look the same, whether we like or not we have to agree the majority of people who listen to h20 look the same. Unconsciously not aware of it.
@dreadjeluc haha there are people who are like that.. most "hardcore" bands are shit nowadays cause they give a fuck about how they're supposed to look to please their audiences..there's nothing hardcore about that.. just same shit like the mainstream pop shit.. well we hate that kind of band and audiences dont we? i dont give a fuck what bands dress like as long as their music hits hard.
love this badn...and yeah, fuck fashion, who cares if you wear some Nike s oder new era caps,ok im honest i wear new era but who the fuck cares,i even like to wear my broken old doc martens boots that looks like crap xD,cause IF YOURE HARDCIRE YOU ARE HARDCORE :)
you don´t have to wear nike, new era or something to be hardcore!!you can take to boy out of punkrock but you can´t take punkrock out of the boy!!!!!!
amazing fucking shit... im a metal guy myself but have always heard glances of hardcore on the side,.... like this shit... ROOTS!!! and dont forget yoooo... ROOTS!!!! heh.... nowhere to be found in metal but contains the same power.
that show... talk about fucking yuppie-ville... got in a fight with some douchebag with a polo hat for mocking me because I was the only one around us singing to H20

jimmyhasapenis 6 months ago
@flyspeckjiggle Saying tattoos make you a sheep is farthest from the point as possible. If I got exact tattoos as a band then maybe i would be sheep, but by the context you are using it, I guess we are all sheep because we all have one thing in common, whether it is we wear shoes, pants, or hell even breathe. you cant pull a half assed similarity and lump people together. that is what they call narrow minded
phenson757 6 months ago
@phenson757 i gotta agree with you on this, but @flyspeckjiggle has a point too. "what happened?" points it all out but ironically they alll look the same, whether we like or not we have to agree the majority of people who listen to h20 look the same. Unconsciously not aware of it.

@musibaat Right on. Pasion before fashion. PMA
DevoutlyAgnostic 1 year ago
@musibaat why would sombody comment on fashion if you listen to H20 then you know they hate music that is about the fashion
dreadjeluc 10 months ago
@dreadjeluc haha there are people who are like that.. most "hardcore" bands are shit nowadays cause they give a fuck about how they're supposed to look to please their audiences..there's nothing hardcore about that.. just same shit like the mainstream pop shit.. well we hate that kind of band and audiences dont we? i dont give a fuck what bands dress like as long as their music hits hard.

@musibaat what happened to the Passion ?!

They're alright. I think they're stuck int the 90's, but there's nothing wrong with that for a punk band.
maddawg579 2 years ago 2
Raybeez RIP indeed.
Btw kids the verse "Dont forget the Struggle,Dont Forget the Streets" comes from a Warzone song.
Also referenced in Aggie fronts "Gotta go".
Warzone/Raybeez were the 1st generation of distinct NYHC.
Everything above is fact and therefore not open to further discussion, thankyou for your time.
