  • lol 0:27 he said DICKS all loud

  • if only spearmon had a better 100m

  • Spearmon waits too late to get into his full sprint. He has the fastest closing speed of anyone I've ever seen. He just uses it too late.

  • If there was a 250m race wallece spearmon wud own!

  • Florida St. baby!!!

  • Rodney Martin ALWAYS gets raped by Spearmon in the last 10m.. Last year in Worlds, same thing.. and now at trials.. LMAO

  • Wut happened to xavier carter is he even running this year

  • 4x100

1st leg Travis p, Shawn Crawford

    2nd leg Walter Dix

    3rd leg D. patton

    4th leg Tyson Gay

  • do u feel this is a strong team for the Olympic for Gold?

  • yes I do feel that we have a strong team for gold

  • i do 2 i just our gus stay healthy and strong. With Tyson as the 4th leg that's good.

  • These are few more for the 4x100: Travis Padgett, LeRoy Dixon, Darvis Patton, Shawn Crawford, Tyson Gay, Walter Dixon, and Rodney Martin?

  • I believe that walter dix can win the 200. He is the only one I trust in the 200m. I followed his career since his Senior year of high school. Me speaking with him, he like the100m very Much, but he loves the 200m

  • duh u dumbass it was a wind aided pr doesnt count idiot

  • then stop ebing so fucking ignroant u fuckin redneck

  • He still crossed the line in 9.80. It might have been windy, but its still a PR. It just doesnt count for a record. Stupid.

  • Redneck? Im black u dumbfuck.

  • lmao

  • duh dumbass wut is ur point he ran a19.69 yet he ha sonly ran it one time big deal

  • Crawford runs a excellent lead 100m. I'd stick him in the 4x100 relay as the 1st leg, even though he didn't run the open 100m well.

  • hey redneck ur slow ass fcuck i would destroy ur sorry ass thats how slow u r hhahah keep tlakin shit ur anonbdoy u dont affetc me in anyway all u cna do is tlak shit behind ur computer so keeo writning hha

  • I aint white either idiot... And how is he JUST getting into his groove? He ran a PR at trials.. Which means he is beyond getting back into a groove. He's at his PEAK right now... Do you know ANYTHING about track? Or do u just live on youtube watching videos... When you run under 10.40 in the 100m come talk to me.. Because I'll DESTROY you on the track with your slow ass.

Redneck? Watch my VIDS stupid. Watch how I won silver at National indoors.

  • pr??? the only pr he ran was a wind aided 100m which doesnt count his 200 was only 19.86 thats is a pr for him. he hasnt ran below a 9.93 thats his pr. ur worng. his barley startring to peak and by the way dont turn this argument about u think ur the shit now what u run a 10.4 and think ur the shit hahaha go race dix or gay or bolt when u can beat them then u can com,e tlak to me othe rthen that have funn getting ur ass beat by them while their joggin hahahah

  • lol shows how much you know, dix ran 19.69 at the '07 NCAA's :)

  • He isnt injured anymore DUMBASS. he ran 9.80, an 19.86.. He just runs with low knee lift. I wasn't criticizing him, I was making a statement..

You sound like a fuckin idiot.. really.. and you are probably a Brit too.

  • lmfao ima brit???? not even fuckin close im not even white damn shows ur ignroance u must be a dumbass redneck yea and what is aid was thta he has been hurt u dumb piec eof shit he is barley startin to get back into his groove dman u r a tru dumbass. hahahah

  • ahhaah figures ur a dumbass canadian i rest my case

  • No I did NOT forget anything.. He simply has NO knee lift.. But theres no "rule" that says you need knee lift to run fast. he has short legs, maybe thats why.

  • no simply he has been hurt and hasnt peeked yet. exactyl then why do u say he needs knee lift.he is gettin better

  • Dix has no knee lift, but superb turnover. I give him props. he came back from the NCAA 4th place to qualify for 3 events in Beijing.

  • yea u also forgo he was injured and out for quite sum bit

  • (43.45 km/h Donovan Bailey (CAN), 100 m dash final, OG in Atlanta, 27th July

1996). Please note this is a top speed, not average (average speed record-200

m final at the same OG, where Michael Johnson (USA) ran a fabulous time 19.32

    s. (10.35 m/s-37.267 km/h).

-From a report from University of Southern California.

  • "The fastest recorded instantaneous velocity achieved by a human was supposedly by Donovan Bailey, who set the World Record in the 100 m (9.84 s). He was clocked at 12.1 m/s, although this figure is perhaps a bit rough (recorded by a radar gun). Accurate data was taken at the 1997 World Championships in Athens, where the top speeds of both Maurice Greene and Bailey were recorded at 11.87 m/s (althogh neither set records in the race -- Greene ran 9.86 s to Bailey's 9.91 s)."

  • And although this is unreliable as this report suggests I still see no evidence to suggest that Johnson hit a higher top speed than Bailey - which was your argument in the first place. To quote a muppet...'Yawn'

  • ic ant even imagine wut tyson would have run if he would of made the finals

  • Spearmon has some serious top end speed. I wonder if his top end has been measured. I've read Baileys WR 9.84 had the fastest top end of any human being...so far.

  • You're right Spearmon closing speed is scary. And the 100 final at the 96 Olympics was amazing when Bailey just swallowed everyone at the last 40 meters

  • Donovan Bailey does not have the fastest top end speed. Simple math will show you that Michael Johnson's 19.32sec 200m time (9.66sec per 100m) proves that he has the fastest top end speed and the greatest ability to maintain that speed. Also, the best 200m ever was the 1996 Olympic final. Finally, Carl Lewis ran a 19.75sec 200m in the early 80s and he ran the last 40m with both hands over his head celebrating his victory because he was so far ahead.

  • Actually I think if you read up about it you will find that Bailey does have the fastest top end speed. 9.66 per 100m is irrelevant as the first 100 was 10.12 and the second 9.2 due to a running start. That proves nothing on top end speed. They were both analysed and Bailey was going considerably quicker. So check your simple math. I've seen the Lewis 200m too-the relevance of mentioning that when discussing top end speed? I think he went quicker on the 4x100 relays of the late 80's early 90's

  • *yawn* First off, the relevance of mentioning Lewis is to quiet your ignorance (and those here) of a "great race" and or top end speed. Lewis, much like Bailey, had a history of closing in the last 40 meters of a 100m race AND had the ability to sustain this for 200m. Had Lewis actually really run out the particular race in question he likely would have run something similar to Johnson's time of 19.32. Also...Bailey's "record" top end speed is highly unreliable.

  • Clearly you have an opinion and I have mine. I think you appear more than a little arrogant by suggesting that you can 'quiet your ignorance (and those here)..' You just sound like a bit of a twat actually. All the best.

  • stfu dude bailey wasa great runner but he neevr was anything close to Mj.if he was that great he would of set records so the fact is he didnt so fuck off and deal with stop crying

  • DIX VS BOLT 200m Finals 19:69 vs 19:67 this going to be the best 200m finals ever

  • Kimberly Holland represents Crawford and Walter DIX, that girl is gonna blow up!

  • why was lane 7 vacant

  • xavier carter withdrew. too bad the 200 was probably his best and only good race.

  • I think if Spearmon has any self-respect he would step-down and let Tyson Gay take his place . That's what happend 4 years ago in swimming Ian THorpe was the best swimmer in the 400m when he got DQ at the trials but the guy who finished 3rd stepped down and let Ian Thorpe take his place knowing Ian was better than him. Ian went on the win gold.

  • ur a idiot

  • Shawn Crawford All The Way!!!

I personally think he is the best turn runner ever for example watch the 2004 200m finals he was almost last but in the turn he ran everyone down. He needs to work more on his finish though.

  • Yeah Walt!!! Thats how ya get it done!!! Luv Ya!!!

  • this one the best 200m I have watch

  • to be sincerity, this tear, the only man capable to beat bolt on 200m was tyson gay, but he is out from olimpic games in that distance, then, I think, bolt will not win, if just he hurt.

  • i really think that if tyson could have done it, dix might be able to also. no doubt tyson was the favorite for america

  • i cannot wait till the day spearmon runs a decent turn... he's definatly capable of going under 19.6 if he does

  • Good work Walter Dix!...Dayum i guess his hamstring injury is no longer an issue lol...and omg Spearmon really got lucky lol..WHY CANT HE EVER JUST RUN A GOOD TURN!!?!?!?!?!?...its a shame though that Gay isnt gonna be running..far as im conscerned Dix is my favorite to win it...

  • well bolt ran a faster time in the jam trials so i guess he should b the "favorite" but as everyone knows its not wut u do up to the oyl (other than qual) but it is wut u do during it this is gonna b an amazing oyl across the board in every event i cant wait

  • Very True Very True...either way its going to be a GREAT Race....i love this time of the year when theirs a track meet on like everyday lol...

  • cuz spearmon is like 6'3", it's hard for him to run the turn. but when his stride kicks in, he can close better than anyone.

  • Ok...but lets not forget these men are PROFESSIONAL (excluding Walter Dix) it doesnt matter how tall you are you should be able to still do what is needed to win...but yes being 6'3 is a disadvantage...still though he's pro so he should be able to handle it..

  • Dix may have won this in 19.86 but Bolt still has the world leading time of 19.83 and that was against no one. Dix was running against the best in his country minus Gay. Although he could medal in Beijing(his pb is 19.69, Bolt pb 19.75), Bolt has to be clear favourite for the 1 & 2 double based on his incredible form. Nonetheless though, the sprints at Beijing are going tizzight!

  • well Sean Crawford looked well juiced up,not to mention Walter Dix,steriods at work again

  • shutup man , ur perfetic y watch these class athletes if ur gona make up shit about them?

  • Jamaica 200m Finals

    1.Bolt, Usain 19.97

    2.Anderson, Marvin 20.17

    3.Williams, Christopher 20.20

    4.Carter, Nesta 20.31

    5.Thomas, Dwight 20.45

    6.Brown, Xavier 20.48

    7.Williams, Ricardo 20.72

    8.Thompson Oral 20.99

Like i said 19.97 and besides Bolt those other times are garbage

  • bolt slowed down so much in the trials tho wen he got 19.97. coulda got around 19.7

  • and once again i have to correct someone on Bolts time gain.... it was 19.97 OFFICIAL!!!!! the 19.80 was unofficial u can look it up anywhere online this shit is gettin annoying. You can even here it on the video on youtube a lil while after the race is over the say OFFICIAL TIME FOR USAIN BOLT..19.97

  • Spearmon's finish was incredible.

Bolt will be a big favourite though now that Gay is missing. I think he'll run 19.5 in Beijing.

  • he was always the favourate

  • Yes, Bolt was the favourite, now he's a BIG favourite.

  • Like I siad everybody is counting ou the U.S and watch how we surprise everybody by going 1,2,and 3. The world will never learn dont count out out the U.S

  • Bolt just ran a 19.67 into a 0.5 headwind. Not counting out the USA at all, only a fool would do that. However I think Bolt will win with the USA trio in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

Now if Spearmon can start stronger and finish like he did at the trials he just might be the one to give Bolt the biggest challenge.

  • In some ways I do agree that Bolt is a big Favorite. I learn that USA is very good at running people down . I believe that Dix and Spearmon has the best chance at Beating Bolt. This going to be commpetitive Olympics

  • bolt wont run 19.5 in Beijing, he'll probably PB tho about 19.6 sumtin i think

  • Walt didnt even run the turn hard... its sick how fast he is

  • i have a feeling if wallace spearmon can get out hard enough he can take it in the olympics.anyone agree, because his kick is nasty!

  • i do agree with that, and i have been saying if bolt wants the 200m he needs to have spearmons amazing finish. Spearmon has been known to run down bolt quiet often.

  • Olympics is going to be a very strong match up .. but for some reason i feel that the final will have some type of upset in it

  • I agree with you on the upset part

  • Bolt is in great form right now....its very much possible for him to complete the double at the olympics but its not gonna b easy...but he is the best person for it especially since Tyson is outta da 200

  • well it will b olt against these guys in the olympics, BOLT IS THE BEST he is currently the world leader in 19.80 n he ran that race wit ease.

  • Dix......beast
