Marty pls help me!. How do you get that sound of guitar? I have Squier Telecaster P90, and i just can't get the right sound. I tuned the guitar and everything but i just can't. Do you have any effects or what? The second note of the solo sounds totaly diferent.

@oldROCKing Try a Strat with Lace-sensors and a TBX. See if it gives you the correct tone -I guess it will. Since this solo is played on the middle pick-up - installing a single-coil in the middle position on your Tele might also do the trick with TBX

The tremelo springs of a Strat do also have a huge bearing on the attack of each note - as the guitar goes slightly flat when you pick. A more solid tremelo block like the pre-CBS ones is also a plus -avoid brass -go for iron. Bone nut of course.

just wanted to add something as a thought..at 6:27 when you do the 12th whole step bend then the 10th whole step bend on the high E string..i found a few notes that seem to belong before each bend..(10th fret B string just before the bend on the 12th high e string but hit it fast) and (8th fret B string just before the bend on the e string 10th fret but hit it fast)..to me this sounds very close to the original and i wanted to know your thoughts..no offense meant..thanks
