@54swanton yes because your ps3 takes care of the video part with the HDMI and the RED AND WHITE cables take care of the audio. onlything is u have to mute your tv because it will play throught both

@SvarteIX go to sound settings click on the secong to last 1 turn it from off to on then you will be able to hear but you will be able to hear from ur tv turn the volume down on ur tv and youll be good to go

@blackopsgamer33 yes. it comes with everything. If you want HDMI video then you'll need to but a 360 AV dongle for 40 dollars or about 10 dollars on amazon. Go new though. But yes it gives you both green plugs.

@shangrewal123 you will need an xbox 360 dongle adapter cable. aka the AV adapter for audio, HDMI and also pc connector. It runs for about 40 dollars so it aint cheap. I got one of these. I can put up a detailed review of mine if you want, i'll explain the HDMI portion too. I am working on gettin a Dongle adapter but i know how you link it. these things are amazing!!! Questions? go ahead and ask.

@ITZzReal24 you have two ear pieces. so the audio is now split. meaning if a guy shoots from the left the gun will sound off in the left ear louder than the right. also voice pick up is excellent. Plus its comfortable and light.

I was planning to buy this but I was wondering if it works with my Setup. I have a PS3 in my office with a Acer H243H Monitor. I've connected the PS3 via HDMI to the Monitor. The Monitor doesn't have any connection for the red/white/yellow cables, just 1 green for external speakers, 1 DVD-In and 1 VGA-In. So I guess it won't work with my Monitor or?

@yomamaofduty hey, that happened to me...first off make sure ur mic is not on mute. second, make sure all ur settings are correct for your tv...tritttons are surprisingly hard to correctly setup but once it is set up it is amazing

@yomamaofduty make sure when you plug in the mic that the two little bumps on it arent not lined up. Turn the mic all the way around so it locks. Also check the plug and the cord, make sure no discoloration or scratches are present on the mic and that the headset is set to xbox!!!i have once thought mine was busted and noticed it was on PS3 mode lol.

@AlbieGfromMyspace well if your TV has white and yellow you will have to get a splitter. it has red and white female inputs with female audio input on the other side. this will allow u to plug ur xbox into it and listen to the audio. however, you will not be able to listen through tv only headset:)

The female-male jacks that you plug your red and white audio cords are connected to the green female end that he plugs the green part into. look up the video thats titled "unboxing of tritton Ax180 and installation" and at about 3:00 he shows where the cord comes from. hope this helps

@joshhockeycodsoccer make sure you have the green plugs completely snapped in and make sure the av chords are in correctly along with the usb in ur ps3. and make sure that on the headset controller the game volume is up.
