I own a P1i, I have tried out an iPhone. Though I would say iPhone is not the best phone out there, its user interface is exceptional, and barring camera and other few basic feautres, it is better than the P1i. Plus P1i is quite an old phone now.
I'm thinking, what would you do? An Iphone 3g 16 gb, or a p1i with a ipod touch 16 gb, that actually is as fast as an iphone 3g? Please awnser, I rated 5/5.
Thanx for rating! I´m not sure, but I think the best would probably be to buy just the iPhone 3G 16GB. As you might understand I really like the p1i but the only thing it misses is HSDPA (turbo3G). But yeah, i think is quite a waste to buy both p1i and iPod touch. So go with the iPhone 3G 16GB... Have a good one!
Thanks,... Oh, and I heard about jailbreaking,... and that you couldn't install (f.ex) Iphisics on it if you don't jailbreak it. While browsing the internet, i found that this "jailbreaking" makes internet slower and even can break your Iphone. I've alsow red that you don't get any warenty.
Sorry, but I´m not familiar with this "iphisics" but I´d assume it´s a third part application and if so you have to "jailbreak" it. And yeah, jailbreaking could damage your iPhone and aswell I think you´ll lose your warranty.... About internet working slower if you jailbreak it I don´t know...
Yeah, I actually think that´s the best to do. iPod touch is basically the same but without gps and the phonecalls :) Still have wifi and everything else... Hope you´ll have as good experience with p1i as I have... I think it´s great!
And look especially for the BT headset HBH-DS980.. It´s great! Access phonebook and stuff right from the headset aswell as great sound quality! Cheers!
Definitely P1i... A lot cheaper and everything you´ll need. Except internal gps antenna and HSDPA though =) But anyway, when you´re used to p1i there is no other phone that could match it... I´ve used nokia n95, samsung i780, and now the iPhone... Still can´t let my p1i go.. Music quality´s GREAT by the way.. Get the bluetooth HBH-DS980 stereoheadset with p1i and you´re in musicheaven:)

Yeah, and the batteristamina - p1i no doubt, but after I´ve been using iPhone a bit I actually think it has quite good battery aswell..
