  • Why am i jealous of you? Oh yh, Cus you're EPIC! :D <3

  • You can go into (Edit-Paste Special- Paste in Place) to paste it in the same place you cut it from.

  • awesome awesome..!!! :D

hey is this possible with c4d too..??

  • Hey Chrome! How do you film in 1080p with screenflow. I have 27 inch imac, and it only uploads 720 to youtube :)

  • @GamingBearHD You need a screen that has resolution of 1920x1080. 27" should be able to do that tough. As for the Screenflow, File->Export->Customize->Size->HD 1920x1080 16:9. Apply, and tick Scale to custom size, set it to 1080p.

  • Pure AWESOME!!!

  • cool tutorial

  • That'll do.

  • Thx you helped me with my College Poster :D

  • you could also cut with layer via cut! Its much easier!

  • yes please do not use arial unless you...i don't know why anyone would use arial. it looks incomplete

  • as always.. cheers

  • What does rasterizing the layer do?

  • @TheMaddCrew it's like turning a word document into a .pdf

  • @BiGxDaDDyxGucci Oh ok, Thanks! I always have rasterized it though, but didn't know the purpose...

  • @TheMaddCrew makes it better.

  • @TheMaddCrew You rasterize a layer so that you can edit it.. it basically just turns it from a text layer to a graphics layer.

  • what does rasterizing the layer do?

  • please start uploading more i miss your videos so much

  • Yes it helped :) try to use as many techniques possible in a single vid :D

  • Thank you!!

  • Looks awesome! Helped a lot to use new techniques like the brush tool at the end!

  • up near your skype status theres a little birdie..... What is it..? xD

  • @DarthChocoboz something to do with twitter

  • haha lol it was ali from project4d

  • Why dont you use layer via cut ? Instead of edit, paste, then move the text around.

  • Nice, looks great, can you tell me what 'rasterise' means/does? Thanks.

  • @imPandaah I can tell you what it does, but not what it means.

Rasterising makes it editable, however any effects such as glow etc are then merged with the layer and you cannot turn them off. But it allows you to use the select tool to delete parts of it or use the eraser on it. For instance. You can't use the eraser on text, but if you were to rasterise it then your could, but however, any effects you have on the text will become merged with it and you can't change them but can add more. :)

  • @OLiVIEIRR Thanks man much appreciated :)

  • @imPandaah That was pretty confusing :S But basically: Allows it to be more editable. FX on the layer become merged and cannot be individually changed.

  • @imPandaah "Rasterise" is when convert something to pixels from vector. A vector is created using maths. It's just a set of points, curves and angles and can be scaled to literally any size you want (assuming you have the computing power to do it lol). A font is a good example of a vector, you can make them as big or small as you like because they're not made of fixed pixels. When you rasterise something it makes them fixed pixels, so when you resize, you resize the pixels. Bigger = blur

  • @TalesOfWar Thanks :D

  • More one great tutorial...

  • Try Helvetica instead of Arial. Despite how similar they are on first glance, the differences just make it look a LOT more refined and professional.

  • @TalesOfWar But Helvetica is more contemporary and somewhat elegant, not something you would associate with POWER (Read in Jeremy Clarkson voice)

  • @M3RKGaming Helvetica is more neutral than anything else. You can put to to pretty much everything and it'll work, there aren't many instances where it looks out of place lol. Arial is just a cheap, poorly made knock off of Helvetica. It has no elegance or subtlety or class. Blow them up and look side by side and you'll see what I mean. Arial is OK in small body text on a screen. Make it header size or more or intend to print and it looks pretty horrible and you can see it wasn't made for print.

  • @M3RKGaming Also Helvetica comes in MANY different weights and styles. Doing this in Heavy or Black would have the same impact of conveying power, but the letter forms are just so much more refined. On the opposite end you could use Ultra Light Extended to use on something delicate and elegant. It's a hugely versatile set of typefaces.

  • THIS IS SOO NEAAATTT!!!!!

  • @SinPyro You're neat :3

  • increase the size a little bit... * HUGE TEXT*

  • on 2:50 u can press:

Shift/Alt(not sure) + Ctrl + J for cutting it into another layer :D

  • that looks sick mate!! now let me go make it in 3D :3

  • @Project4D :O :D

  • @Project4D Herro :D
