  • The biscuit looks like a willy.

  • Too cute.

  • Still love this video! Please tell Agent his sister Sophia says hi :-). She's sooo grey now but still going strong. ~Tammy

  • @MrKasnas Whoa, I"m suprised to hear this....look at more of my videos...does he look or act stupid to you? I mean, intelligence, like people will vary from dog to dog, but for the most part, I can say that Danes are gentle, kind, intelligent, protective and HILARIOUS. If you need more proof, find a breeder or visit a Dane meetup. (Meetup.com)

  • @ramiri22 Awwww thank you. He really is the love of my life.

  • So I've been helping in training my neighbor's dog (an English Retriever) and I was wondering if you could tell me how you managed to teach Agent the "Off" command. I don't even know if its possible to teach neutered retrievers how to do it because they're always so hungry, but I would love to give it a shot. Agent seems to be extremely well mannered!

  • @rutwiko01 Youre so nice to help ur neighbor! I taught the OFF technique from "The Well Mannered Dog". Goes like this: Put a treat your closed fist. Let him sniff & pry but DONT let him have it. Eventually, even for a second, he'll turn his head away from ur fist/treat. THAT'S when u IMMEDIATELY give the treat. Timing is key. It teaches him that looking away gets them the treat. Be consistent & always end a session happy. Good luck! I'd love to hear back about his progress!

  • @misslisa1 I tried it and it worked really well. He pretty much got it down in our first 'OFF' training session. Thank you.

  • oh wow beautiful dog!!!! great danes are my favorite=]

  • Bossy!

  • Gorgeous old man, I wonder how much they cost?

  • @moregunnz Depends on where you get them from of course...but I've seen them cost anywhere from FREE to $2000 for a "show dog." Of course, you have to consider costs of food, vet bills, misc. (Big dog, bigger costs at the vet.)

  • I have never understood why people want there pets to act like sircus-animals,.. i just dont get it. Dogs are so loyal to there owners, no matter what and people want there pets to look like ridiculous monkey. I dont call that respect. Oh boy,..if your dog could speak.. Hes not a toy. Would you do that to your kid?

  • @konnuli I'm simply showing off manners & trainability...essential things unless u live alone on 100 acres. Re: "ridiculous monkey" tricks, he does enjoy a treat for it! We go to the beach, walks, car rides, dog parks & he sleeps in my bed. & he DOES speak. We communicate very well given our tight bond. Look, I DO insist on manners at minimum ESPECIALLY with dogs of his size. When in public, u can be damn sure he will be polite. I'm sorry konnuli, you've completely missed the point.

  • @konnuli oh and by the way...circus....not sircus.

  • Handsome boy! And nice work with the command training!

  • @ladybiggs Thank you so much!

  • we're getting a black dane soon, theyre absolutely amazing and so clever! your's has set the milestone! haha

    Louis

  • I heard danes were hard to train... you make it look easy! :-)

  • @Mejuz Ya know, I've heard the same thing. That the big dogs are stubborn. He was a BREEZE! I highly recommend puppy training classes and books however.

  • the treat looks like those testicles that people hang off the back of their trucks.

  • Mooooooooommy, give me treat already!

  • very impressive!!!!!!!!

I love his ear job too.

  • very impressive!!!!!!!!

  • I used to string tricks together like this for my Australian Shepherd/Chow mix (he was a rescue and one of the sweetest dogs ever). He'd start wining and would get just as impatient! Does Agent ever try to do all the tricks at once when he gets really impatient? Teddy used to do that. :-P

  • @kungfuman82 LOL...yeah...he pulls everything out of his bag of tricks ha!

  • at 0:09 it sounds like a horn

  • he didnt want to eat the helf bone bc it looked wrong!

  • "Run away and go eat it on the carpet..." lol, my dane does the same thing! :)

  • @MrKasnas

Danes are by no means stupid, I think alot of people mix up clumsy with stupid.

when a dane walks into a small room things tend to get knocked over and when they run sometimes people get knocked over. they're mostly giant dogs that are great with kids and very devoted to their family. I have had 3 and they are always the same, wonderful but giant dogs. good luck and I highly recomend the breed.

  • @stanthemannn This is true. They're big! It's like asking Godzilla not to step on an ant! Thanks for the backup stanthemannn.

  • Don't torture the this dog!

  • @feastbeast Oh pppsssshhhh whatever.

  • lol his barking is cute lol my dog does that same thing when we tell him to do something he whines a little and hes so obnoxious =P theyre amazing dogs thought

  • hahaha Penis shaped Treats

  • can i ask what is kind of your dog?

i am not familiar with dog,he is really great.

  • @cryingsakura Thank you! He's purebread Great Dane. However, he doesn't look like the "typical" Dane, as he is VERY beefy in the chest and shoulders and he's quite short (due to a horrible syndrome he went through as a pup.)

  • awe he;s cute =] i want a great dane sppp bad they seem like fantastic dogs

  • Thank you everyone for your kind words! I haven't been on in awhile, so sorry! I did train Agent myself and we only got through 1/2 of his training before he got terribly sick. Luckily, he learned lots before he got sick. He recovered a few months later thank God. I used a couple books to train him, one being "The Well Mannered Dog". He was the first dog I trained. Credit goes to the book and Agents phenominal attitude and breeding. He's my love.

  • @misslisa1 I want to own a great dane but do you think they are a good choice to get for a first time dog owner?

  • @TrulyLivindaLife Ya know...I can't say. He's my first dog as an adult. I've had several dogs growing up, but they weren't "mine." If you've had previous experience with dogs...then MAYBE. If you've NEVER had a dog, I'm not so sure. I would definately recommend finding and visiting a breeder and asking questions or find a local Great Dane club or meetup and observe, ask questions.

  • wow my dog does the whole impatient trick stuff too...then takes his treat to the carpet to eat it how funny!

  • thats a good dog i dont understand y dogs like to eat food on the carpet does anyone know

  • @salmandini LOL no clue. Might have something to do with getting traction on the treat (carpet holds it in place better) or perhaps they don't like their lips, teeth, tongue clinking against hard tiles??

  • @misslisa1 Dogs take their treats back to their "homes" or territory to enjoy it there. It's a natural instinct to "take your spoils back home after a hunt" and eat it there. That's why dogs run back to their beds, or family room carpet, and eat their treats there. :-)

  • @salmandini y sllot dog dont like yu

  • what a beautiful dog!!!

  • 1:06 - he ate someones nutties!!!

  • Wow beautiful well train dog !

  • lol that is awsome, how long did it take to learn him to this level? im dreamin about great dane itscool that theyre so smart ;)

  • @MrJONKS I used the book called "The Well Mannered Dog". Hmm...now I'm starting to wonder if YouTube is going to think I'm promoting that book or something and remove my posts....eh, oh well.
