  • Can u make a list of ur parts

  • Thanks man. I'm thinking about getting an EXI 500 as a basher. I have an Align 500 ESP but this is way cheaper.

  • Hello 240p

  • I like it, I built a hk450 gtpro on an unemployed budge. SO CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE POOR MEN OUT THERE, I salute you, now i dont feel alone.

  • mycoolheli stll have coupons for xheli and more info on this helicopter

  • dude never wrap around the gyro wire around the boom, it will take a lot of vibration and interferance might cause the gyro not to function properly or have a delay on holding, better safe than sorry unwrap it just tape it folded. just and advice

  • EXI's are better than Trex I think. So, if someday Trex gets cheaper, I'll buy a Trex and use an EXI tail boom. haha

  • Hi can you send me a private email with the parts you used to build the EXI 500 . Include part number and model where necessary and how many of each part. Also any info on the setup that will be helpful.

    Thanks

    Lenny. Email. rambojohn7118@msn.com

  • Can you message me a complete parts list for this? Including a TX. :D I WANT IT !!!

  • @Bradentucky prob already solved. Thanks though. Replaced with Align parts, CF booom, boom clamp, and tail box. Flys like it's on rails :))

  • Stripped any of the threads yet? I stripped the threads on the right side boom support mount, didnt break the eyelette like yours, and the tail case doesn't clamp the boom tight enough. Tail turned down on me on first spool up, luckily it was b4 take off. Align replacements on the way :)

  • @jminors I have a 2.5mm bolt running from the inside of the boom out, and a lock nut outside the case behind the pinch bolt. Other than that, you'll need a hole on the left side to tighten the head on the bolt.

  • "Financially challenged heli enthusiast" LOL! I'm one of those!! I have an EXI 450 that fits my budget nicely, but I've been eying up the EXI 500.

  • wait till u crash and c how manny parts break.......trex 500 all the way

  • @airmanRD Actually, in an identical crash the clone would be cheaper to repair. Clone parts cost less. That and the fact that you save hundreds of dollars on initial purchase.

  • ok im thinking of moving up from my blade cx2 and was wondering if i should get the exi450 or 500 .... i just want a helli to keep cause i just want to what would you think

  • @hack1981

hey get the e flite blade sr. the exi 450 and 500 are 3d. those are to much for you.

  • Nice! I never had any problems with the cyclic servo's from Hobby King they felt great.

I did sometimes feel like the JR tail servo was underpowered though. Can't wait for Align to release weight tail grips; that should help out a lot!

  • I just spent $300 just on new upgraded servos for my Trex 500 ESP servos today

  • Yep, I broke 3 sets of those supports. Installed the Carbon Fiber supports with no problems.

  • Yo lookin good, I'm just setting here bulding an HK-500GT and had to take a break... A couple of days and I'll show you how it's flying. Keep throttled up bro!
