@avida913 Nope! Your hair grows regardless of your ends being trimmed. The reason you trim your ends is so that you can RETAIN the length that you have grown. Next time you see a split end pull it apart and watch how it rips an inch of length off your hair. When you trim your ends you retain more length because your hair is not breaking off at the same rate as it grows which means it is more likely you will have longer hair. :)

i have had quite a hair journey. i got my first relaxer around 7 or 8. it was kept in plaits and it was down my back. and i didn't get a relaxer for a while.when i got to 5th grade, i kept it in a bun, because i wasn't going to wear plaits. i started getting a relaxer.i quit letting her do it, and my hair broke off bad, so i got it cut. then i stopped taking care and i got it cut again. im in 8th grade, and its growing back finally,. any tips?

@chinajazzytown Hmm.. what's your hair texture? While I don't think relaxers are good for the hair and hair growth, there are some women that have grown long healthy relaxed hair like ulovemegz. So if you're going to get your relaxed hair be sure to wear protective styles and protect your ends while you sleep... and don't forget to moisturize and not use excessive heat.

@danger069gurl Well I can't say how long it took to transition because I never did a big chop or anything. I just grew the perm out. Also because of my overall bad hair care I can't exactly say when the perm its self stopped causing my hair to break. Definitely over a year and a half though.

I wanted to know if I leave non leave in conditioners in my hair for maybe two to three days will it damage my hair? The conditioners I was going to use was the herbal essences Long term relationship conditioner and the ORS replenshing pak.. Thanks for the videos they were so helpful to maintain healthy hair.! =)

@LalaLovelyAnn Awesome! No it won't damage your hair. The worst it can do it is make your hair look weighed down or stringy. But most curly chicks won't experience that. I always leave that both of those exact conditioners in my hair. :) Long term conditioner smells amazing.

@moregunnz The reason it's kind of "bad" for your hair is because your ends are exposed to the elements and can rub against your clothes and furniture which can split the ends. I never cut off my permed hair, it just broke off. -_-

@Lollipopz1198 I washed my hair, conditioned it and combed it out with the conditioner in it. When I got out the shower with my hair still conditioners I took a hair clip and cliped my hair to the bottom of my shirt straps and left it dry stretched out. Then the curls could not shrink back up. :)
