  • What a terrible drummer "profile neurosis"!!!...the women is not bad but the band is......

    not funky at all,sounds like a village-fusionband

Betty made the best funk at her time and this tribute is just...no words

  • Sing it woman !! :))

  • to johbambammorgan, this song was originally done by Betty Davis (yes the former wife of the late Miles Davis) it is on her first LP (sorry I don't recall the name) but it was the reall beginning of funk as we know it today.

  • Ricky Rouse is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • to 'iamgrammyable",thanks for the correction. I did mean Ricky rouse.

  • Ricky Lawson on guitar WOW!. Some people think that this cover of this song is TOO fast, but this is a hard tempo to play . Its quite funky, but its one of theose songs that cannot be playedm exactly as the the original. This is a different time with different musical nuances. For a artist too even try this song is commendable. I think that Marva King did a great job,and she certainly didn't take anything away from the song.

  • @sosmooth7 Ricky Rouse on guitar!

  • @sosmooth7 , What recording is the original of this song? What artist and title please.

  • First of all she is good but Betty is Better and she is wearing too many clothes. Betty was raw and she had no cut card.

  • Not bad. A little too fast, tempo-wise (loses some of the funk groove)....and nobody could be as raunchy as Ms. Davis! LoL

  • Who covers Betty?? NOBODY, because they can't pull it off. Marva TEARS this UP.

  • tempo to quick lost the groove of the tune

  • you rocked it. betty would have been proud. do another. lol
