Its quite funky,but its one of theose songs that cannot be playedm exactly as the the original. This is a different time with different musical nuances. For a artist too even try this song is commendable. I think that Marva King did a great job,and she certainly didn't take anything away from the song.

First of all she is good but Betty is Better and she is wearing too many clothes. Betty was raw and she had no cut card.

Not bad. A little too fast, tempo-wise (loses some of the funk groove)....and nobody could be as raunchy as Ms. Davis! LoL
