I´ve played all the Splinter Cell Games, when i saw Conviction Trailers i thought: "No, this wont be real SC at all", then i bought it. It may be different, but the Story is great and gameplay aswell. When i entered the White House and this music came up, i had goosebumps as Hell! Great Game!

i'm glad they took Sam's character into this direction, it give us a chance to see him more as a human than as an agent as we have seen him in the past games. In Conviction he seems more like a father, like Liam Neeson's character in "Taken". As an agent he had to hold back on his emotion and moral conflicts in order to complete the mission but in conviction, he works purely on it which makes him an absolute force given his background.

I just played through this game today, ive never played any tom clancy games ever and i loved every bit of this game it is seriously one of the best games ever in my opinion. I really want a splinter cell movie i think it would be awesome.

There is Megiddo, but Third Echelon is gone man, Sam's life in the field is over, there's nothing to continue on for Sam's story.

@thehalflifedude Why Third Echelon gone? Because Reed is dead? There is still Grim and still the HQ of Third Echelon in Fort Meade, Maryland. And even if there isn't a Third Echelon that doesn't mean at all that Sam's story ends in Conviction. I understand your as much as somebody would say after every Splinter Cell came out, Sam's story is over. Until now it isn't and it won't be in the future because there a lot of questions left to answer for the devs of Splinter Cell.

Reed is dead, the HQ is destroyed, Lambert's dead, most of the agents are slaughtered by Sam, there is NOTHING left for field work for Sam, his charges aren't removed magically.

@thehalflifedude The HQ you saw in Conviction is a new one. You don't know what happened to the old one do you? There is still Voron, still agents like Kestrel and Archer. Third Echelon began with one Splinter Cell and even if some are dead now there are still more then at the beginning of the series. Grim could be the next director and there is Coen, Redding and a lot of other poeple who are the voice in your ear and help you on the field. You think Sam would let Megiddo go? I don't think so.

Archer and kestrel are both dead, Sam slaughtered the rest of the agents, and Sam isn't just going to 'go back' into the field, maybe Grim will remake third echelon, but Sam will have nothing to do with it, he even refused to help grim at the end and went rogue again, "Ask lambert, I've done enough already."

Please, play the game through and pay attention to these happenings, they tend to be important to the story.

@thehalflifedude It's pretty much equal how much Sam killed. And If you didn't know, Sam was the only field operative in SC1. Also if you really know the story in Conviction then you know that most inspiration is coming from Hollywood and which is why I am not surprised hearing Sam saying "Ask Lambert, I've done enough already!" If there is a big dangerous group, the Sam I know will protect America and the world. Splinter Cell games supposed to have Tom Clancy Style Story not Hollywood Shit.

@MrMattsofattso No it's wrong. He didn't just do the things he was told to do. There were key situation where Sam decided how he does things. He always did the things the way he thought it was right and this defined his character. Biggest example is the mission in Chaos Theory in Seoul where rescue two pilots that crashed with the jet. This defined his character and made him really human. He was unique, someone you don't see really often in a video game.

the soundtrack is good..but they kinda use the idea from the Bourne Movies..just compare them..and you'll see they're similar..especally at 2:02 if you hear that tone..it's sounds very similar to the Bourne Soundtrack..really ubisoft...

How I love this Splinter Cell Soundtrack so much...

I got a love/hate relationship with the game, its to much 'action oriented' all the stealth stuff from chaos theory and double agent has been removed and its way to arcade... I prefered the semi-realism the previous games had...

It is still one of the most awesome action based games I have ever played though...

@MinosDaedalus A lot of people love it. That doesn't mean that every medium has to go this direction though. You have enough Hollywood heroes. Splinter Cell and Sam Fisher has to go their own way, the Tom Clancy way. Something I know a lot of long term fans would appreciate. There are a lot of other poeple who enjoy original stuff and this was Splinter Cell up to Conviction.

I mean you wouldn't love when a Hollywood Action Film you love would change into a boring one, would you?

@BlackPookie I don't know what you mean with "lol". BTAS is a great game, but Splinter Cell shouldn't go the same way. They both should go their own unique way. BTAS found it's way, Splinter Cell was always on the right way but the last two titles brought them somewhere where they shouldn't be. SC6 has just to find a way back and pick up everything that is cool on it's way. SCC has some great features like the Cover System, Krav Maga, the whole animations...

Others who have it up now could be banned for not asking if they are allowed to upload the Soundtracks. That's why you still don't see the other Soundtracks originally from the Soundtrack Disc.
