@plinkenstein DUDE GIMME YOUR FUCKING NUMBERS .... STOP TALKING IN SLOGANS!!!! HE USED THE BAILOUT MONEY (HE HATED) TO BALANCE THE BUDGET AND NOW HE SPITS VENUM ON OBAMA AFTER USING THAT MONEY AND ASKING FOR MORE MONEY AFTER THE FLOODING ... BUT IN FAVOR TO CUT FUNDS TO FEMA FOR POLITICAL REASONS. 50% UP IN TRANSPORTATION ... WE ARE FUCKED!!!!! TELL ME ABOUT THAT. YOU MUST BE RICH TO PAY $12 FOR THE LINCON TUNNEL JUST TO ENTER MANHATTAN.
@plinkenstein Dude look at Gallup, Pew research, reports ... do you read newspapers??? And I am not mentioning on purpose neither Liberal sources or the NYTimes that you Fox fans hate so much, but all INDEPENDENT NATIONWIDE RECOGNIZED SOURCES.
Apart for that. Do you support Christie? So why do you support him? Gimme your numbers (legit question)? You might have some source of concrete/tangible accomplishment and improvement he did? If not ... stop talking in slogans just because you hate Obama
@mrfreedomdemocracy1 What do you have mental telepathy? Since when am I a Fox fan? And where did I say I hate Obama? I don't hate Obama and was glad when he was elected. He has been awesome militarily in fighting the war on radical Islam. His policies for the economical growth are not working. He and congress both are to blame. The federal government is too big and bloated. Christie doesn't care if he is vilified. He is at east trying to the right things in NJ.
@plinkenstein Obama's economic policies were working before the Arab spring, Japan earthquake and tsunami and then the European debt crisis hit(what a year!). If you look back to 2010, America's GDP was at 2.9 percent, almost 3 percent. Economist at the end of the year said if all is normall they predict US economy could grow by 3.5 percent in 2011. Unemployment dropped too 8.7 down a whole 1%, and at the fastest 4 month rate drop in 50 years. But when all the external factors hit, thingswentbad
@TylerThrashPeace You may be right about all those factors however you are stringing together some things that may not be connected. At least you have the decency not to blame Bush:)
@plinkenstein NOT TO FORGET THAT HE REFUSED TO USE THE MONEY TO CREATE A NEW TUNNEL BETWEEN MANHATTAN AND NJ TO INCREASE TRADE , BUSINESS AND PUT 3,500-4,000 ON JOBS. I LIVE IN HOBOKEN, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW LONG IT TAKES DURING RUSH HOURS TO ENTER OR EXIT MANHATTAN TO NJ? 40-50 MIN, NOT TO TALK ABOUT THE BUS LINES IN PORTH AUTHORITY. I FUCKING DO IT EVERY DAY!!!!!
Tell me how you really feel? Please don't hold back. I'm from "democatic" NJ and voted for Corzine first time around so if you want to aim your vitriol at anybody, aim it at him and at the job killing administration in the Whitehouse. He is at least respected here, more then can be said for you.
@plinkenstein BULLSHUT AGAIN .... AND REMEMBER .... HE SAID "I AM NOT READY TO BE PRESIDENT" NOT ME ;))))). Which are his accomplishments again? Do you know that in 1995 unemployment was at 5,3% and the rich paid 34% in taxes and gradually they got tax cuts and the unemployment went up (not just in one shot because of the crisis) and noiw they pay 10% less and unemployment is at 9%.CONTD
@plinkenstein if you want to talk to me please aswer directly and second bring numbers not slogans. Here are mines. Nov 2008 unemployment was at 7.8%. During Bush lame duck session it went up to 8.5%. Obama proposed the bailout in March 2009 and the money went out only in May 2009 when unemployment dropped at 10% (800k job losses a month) ... still under Bush budget!!!. Since May 09 unemployment went down and 3 M jobs were created in 20 months until Jan 2011 when GOP GOVERNORS cut public jobs
@plinkenstein How do you justify that unemployment in NJ went up and is higher than the national? Where is Christies' miracle? Governors are the ones who really have power. They can decide not to implement federal bills if they want. He gave tax cuts to billionairs to create jobs in NJ and used the bailout money for that and he actually created jobs ..... in China, In India, ..... NOT IN NJ!!!!
@plinkenstein Dude, Christie used the new Supreme Court decision that corporations are individuals to get non disclosed money from everybody even from China!!!! Christie like the Governor of Wisconsin didn't balance the budget he increased debt cutting taxes to millionaires. Before the arrival of Christie there were hundreds of project in place in many towns in NJ that started to improve bridges, harbors and roads now in Hoboken there are work in progress abandoned because he stopped them.

@mrfreedomdemocracy1 Several states have higher unemployment than the national average. Most every state is suffering but you center out Christie. We have the highest property taxes in the nation, the third highest debt load, much caused by many who came before Christie and made promises to the unions, i.e. benefits for teachers, police, firefighters etc, that are now unsustainable in this climate. We can't build a 10 billion dollar tunnel to NY because we don't have the bucks. Continued.
@plinkenstein NJ state employees get 92% of health benefits for state workers (higher than NY 83% and Higher than federal Gov employee 66%) Further, the majority of teachers pay nothing and if you teach long enough, those benefits continue for life. Christie has asked the teachers union to take a one year pay freeze and contribute 1.5 towards medical benefits. He was vilified. For not building the tunnel that we can't afford?... vilified etc, etc.

It's hilarious to watch the Republican "sideshow" embracing candidates" one minute and aborting them the next in their vain attempt to find another Ronald Reagan. The party has drifted so far to the right and embraced such extremists and nutcases that they've lost credibility with independents and moderates. They're afraid of them, and rightfully so. BEST speech I've EVER heard. He spoke eloquently, logically & forcefully about the "state" of our country, its lack of leadership in the Oval Office & Congress, & its declining World status due to bickering in DC. DC believes in BAND-AIDS & not effective solutions AND in "political posturing" vs doing what’s right for ALL (not just themselves). CHRISTIE believes in permanent fixes that have been overwhelmingly successful! His LEADERSHIP style is extremely effective; DC needs to emulate!
I would vote for him but not until he get's the corrupt republicans out of Mount Laurel, and Burlington, NJ. Clean up the mess in NJ. first. We are not called the soprano state for no reason. When he was the Federal Prosecutor. I couldn't even get in to see him. I was told I had to have a lawyer make arrangements to get to see him. He should also get the E P A under control in NJ.
I am so so proud of my Governor. I would hate to loose him, but I do agree the Country needs him now. However, he is a man of his word. He means what he says and says what he means.
I respect your decision not to run, Governor, but America NEEDS you. You are the man for the time, and it is more than flattering or an honor. You can save the country. Please reconsider. Run Chris run!
I need to say to Gov Christie this...20+yrs ago I took an oath as a Police Officer to serve and protect...pretty simple right? But that oath I took was a deep passion I had within to truely make a difference. I felt I had an obligation to my community because I had that passion. That being said Gov. Christie, I truely beleve that you truely BELIEVE in the United States of America and therefore you have an obligation, you really don"t have a choice....save this great Country and RUN!!!
Governor Christie, you definitely are the man "for such a time as this." I pray that you will reconsider and become a candidate for President of the United States. I believe that only God can lead you to make this choice, but I also believe that you have the qualities, values, courage and integrity to bring this wonderful country back from the brink! God Bless You for the difference you are making.
@rc4less Are you foing to vote also for the 50% increase in transprtation and for all the tax cuts for the millionaires he did in New Jersey also destroying the education system?
Okay! Governor! from Hawaii I'm ask you! will you please run for president? we have Herman Cain/Michelle Bachman! trully Tea Party Patriots! we need your help! our country is in danger with obamafiasco! YOU HAVE TO RUN!! PLEASE!! WHAT A SPEECH!! AND YOU DELIVER THAT LIKE A TRULLY AMERICAN FROM THE PAST!! WE HAVE TO BRING OUR BELOVED COUNTRY BACK!! OBAMAFIASCO IS DISGUSTING/COWARD AND SOCIALIST! HE HAVE TO GO FOR GOOD!! I WILL PAY FOR YOUR VACATIONS IN HAWAII!! BUT RUNNNNNNNNN!!!
PLEASE!!! WILL YOU RUN FOR PRESIDENT? WHAT IS GOING TO TAKE FOR YOU TO RUN? YOUR SPEECH WAS AMAZING AS YOU'RE! YOU BRING TEARS TO MY EYES! I HAVEN'T HEAR SUCH POWERFULL SPEECH SINCE REGAN TIMES!! PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! RUNNNNNNN!! FOR PRESIDENT!! LOOK WHO WE HAVE NOW!!
Wow - after three years of being told that America's decline is just "something we'll have to get used to" (Biden) and watching a man sometimes in the Oval Office who spends more time on the golf course and on vacation than doing the job of President while the country goes to hell - this speech is like a breath of fresh air and reminded me of the days of Reagan when we were prosperous, proud and free.
@DocStrange88 dude, this is the man who used an elichopter to watch his son's soccer match using taxpayer money!!! Do you know which is his approval rate in NJ??? He fucking increased transportation costs 50% cutting taxes for billionaires!!!!! Are you totally insane????? Obama taxed taxes to the middle class 27 times .... Come back from Oz man, Stop the mental masturbations!!!
@plinkenstein Dude, you confuse vitriol with FACTS!!!!! If you want to be like the 3 monkeys it's your choice but please don't fool anybody with bullshit. HE SAID HE WASN'T GOING TO FIRE ANY TEACHER AND FIREMAN AND HE DID THE OPPOSITE ONCE ELECTED. HE USED THE STIMULUS MONEY HE HATES SO MUCH AND HE GAVE IT TO BILLIONAIRES. HE INCREASED TRANSPORTATION COST FUCKING 50%, UNEMPLOYMENT RATE INCREASED AND IT'S HIGHER THAN NATIONAL LEVEL. HE STOPPED THE WORK FOR THE TUNNEL (3500 JOBS).
@plinkenstein Do you complain about increase in unemployment rate? Well look at the numbers and look very closely then. In Dec 2010 unemployment rate dropped to 8.7%. Since the teabagger governors went in place in their states unemployment rate went up because they fired tens of thousands of people in the public sector increasing the national unemployment rate. Texas unemployment went from 8.2% to 8.5% in 2 months with the highest number of under wage jobs.
Smart guy or not, he almost immediately and wrongly uses the French word passe, meaning dated, when he should use blase, meaning unimpressed or indifferent. That speech must have been read by his team too. It's not a big mistake but it's embarrassing that no-one picked it up.

Horrible Tragedy that Most Americans can Not tell you What American Exceptionalism Really Means!
They have Never been Taught about it Anywhere.
Here are a Few of the Reasons Why:
Communist Party website lists Many of the Same Goals as the Democrats.
45 Goals of Communists in USA were Exposed in 1963 in the Congressional Record, and Many have been Accomplished.
This YouTube video: "Former KGB Agent Explains the Brainwashing of America 1980's".

@mrfreedomdemocracy1 So where did all you "freedomdemocracy" people come from? Sorry to say but your vitriol is directed at the wrong person.
plinkenstein 4 months ago
HE STOPPED THE WORK FOR THE TUNNEL (3500 JOBS).
mrfreedomdemocracy1 4 months ago
@plinkenstein Do you complain about increase in unemployment rate? Well look at the numbers and look very closely then. In Dec 2010 unemployment rate dropped to 8.7%. Since the teabagger governors went in place in their states unemployment rate went up because they fired tens of thousands of people in the public sector increasing the national unemployment rate. Texas unemployment went from 8.2% to 8.5% in 2 months with the highest number of under wage jobs.
