@wiscorhino just think of what you did that bear could still be in the wild but yet you took his life. what did you do with the bear after you killed it?? Did you go back to camp and say hey look what I shot? did you smile and laugh?? So sad So sad. @blueeyes314 Let me give you a quick evolution lesson. Unless your an autotrophic organism, you must kill to consume and to survive. You cannot expect some massive farm ground to provide you with food in nature. Hominids have been hunting for the past 4 million years! Do you think that we are going to change these evolutionary behaviors just because we have massive farms filled with preservatives, hormones, and artificial flavors? And you wonder why cancer is so high right now.
Good shot, man. Your rifle looks like a Remington model 750, but I can't tell. The taper on the shoulder of the shell casing looks like either a 300 or .338 Win. mag. Either caliber are excellent choices for any big-game in North America.
