Aha. Liked how the scenes matched the music. My personal favorite of the video was showing regeneration during part of the chorus (yanno what i mean) and showing the gangers collapsing at 'Does anyone make real shit anymore/" :D
In 10 we saw that he nearly always kept himself in check. In 11 that dark side to him is seen to be a lot more present and noticable and he sometimes lets it get the better of him. 10 was all of the tiredness and sadness of his past life and 11 is all the anger. he is finally starting to think that his time is coming to an end, and that if real big threats are not defeated before this happens then they will conquer, and he is willing to go to the extreme ends of his mind and personality to do it
@TARDISdriver97 Well, The Valeyard was supposed to be his inner darkness. IIRC, he was created when 12th became 13th, and this Doctor is number 11... The numbers ARE close.
@TARDISdriver97 Wow, I thought I was the only one. I think the 11th is more dangerous than ever--he acts cute and awkward and adorable most of the time and so when we see him angry (compared to this cutesy self), he is more frightening than we've seen in the 10th. His dark side has come out multiple times, whereas the 10th definitely did a fine job of keeping it in check.
I've only seen the 10th and 11th doctors so I don't have much to go on but I know how I feel about the 11th and I don't think he's unstable. He's quirky, witty, spontaneous, caring, and so brave. He loves Amy and Rory so much he'd go to the ends of the universe to save them. That's why he's leaving. So they're safe. Even if things are rocky, it all works out in the end. He's always thinking ahead and mapping out what to do so it all falls together. He's a hero. Or better yet, he's the Doctor.
Great song for Doctor Who, and you handled it very well. I enjoyed it thoroughly, though the talky face scenes did distract me a bit. Otherwise, and awesome action packed vid worthy of both Daft Punk and Doctor Who. :-)
Do you think you could a better copy of that Daft Punk song? Your copy seems to have a talentless hack babbling incohernetly over it. Other than that, Awsum video. ;)
it has to be the doctors (or atleast the the 11th) one downfall he can go from happy to ape shit in seconds like in the colnel runnaway scene from GMGTW he was smiling and then just yells at the colnel

I may have a passion of hate for this horrible remix of Harder Better Faster Stronger, but you did a great job! :D I'm making one with the original (in my opinion, harder, better, faster, stronger version) :D
My two cents is the eleventh doctor has a streak of baker's doctor in him causing him to act a bit unstable, and if you think about it all doctors have been a bit unstable. But i think its because whats the doctor does best saving people, its just now he finds it personal because hes grown attached to having amy and rory with him and would move the heavens to make sure they have a happy life. But i do agree in a good man goes to war he let his feelings blind him...
@ZoidFA I've only seen about 25 or so classic who episodes, some from each doctor, and while none of them were very stable, I can't picture any of them doing what 11 did in AGMGTW. Like you said his feelings blinded him, and I think because of that he didn't plan things out very well. I don't think it's out of character or anything. After all he's done, seen, and lost it would make sense that he become more unstable, especially when it comes to protecting those he loves.
@ladyoftime7 I think he realises that at the end of Series 6: he says its time to hide back into the shadows, plus I think he doesn't want to hurt Amy ever like he has done with the other companions. He lets her go but of course the Doctor can't hide forever...the fall of the eleventh is vastly approaching.
@ZoidFA Oh, I agree. Older fans--or any fans that have worked their way through the Classic series, anyhow--will recognize the 'dark chessmaster' inside the current Doctor. I love the continuity, even if--in episodes like "The Girl Who Waited"--I want to choke him to death at times. He's a complicated being, and always weighing certain factors against each other to decide what needs to be done.
Here's something i've noticed about recent episodes (Or at least episodes with 11) it seems that 11 has either become stupid, insane, or is linked to amy more than we know, think of this. In the episode with the dream lord amy was able to convince the doctor to commit what could have been suicide. Also he went into a complete frenzy when they stole amy, what about when rose was taken by the daleks, he didn't even get mad when confronting them. He seems to be mentally unstable. what do you think?
@TheVidKid9119 I've always felt it was kind of weird how easily the Doctor allowed Amy to kill herself, the Doctor, and even her unborn child in Amy's Choice. That never seemed right to me. I don't think he went too crazy when Amy was taken though (at first anyway), he had known about it for a few episodes before that. I think he is more out of control when he gets angry than he was as 9 or 10 though. River even points out that everything that happens at the end of AGMGTW is because of him.
@ladyoftime7 I guess that frenzy was not the best way to describe it, but he called in favors, I am not aware of any other time he got people to fight by him to this extent. he also killed countless Cyber-men, just to get his point across.
@TheVidKid9119 I see what you're saying. I just meant that at first he seemed to handle it pretty well (when he first figured out Amy was a ganger). But yeah, I agree he was acting a lot different when it came to actually getting her back. And I agree with your original statement that he seems mentally unstable, and I think has been ever since he regenerated. He almost seems to be stuck in the whole time lord victorious mindset, but he's just not as vocal about it as 10 was.
@ladyoftime7 Here is something else I've noticed, since Melody\River and the doctor meet in the wrong order, the first time the doctor meets her is the last time she sees her, than that means that since the ganger version of melody projects dream like hallucination to the original Melody, that technically means that is the first time the melody meets him, so does that mean that he won't find her?
@TheVidKid9119 Did she ever say if the last time he meets her is her first time meeting him? I can't remember, I know she said he knew all about her. She could have meant the first time she remembers meeting him, which probably wasn't when she was a baby. I doubt he's going to find her before she regenerates though, since that would mess with the time lines (though Amy saw a picture of her holding Melody in that room in Day of the Moon, so it's possible). Hopefully we'll find out in a few weeks!
@ladyoftime7 here's another thing I noticed, In day of the moon, when amy found the picture of herself, there wasn't one of rory, and in a good man goes to war, when rory approaches river, she seems sad to see him, that may be because she knows it's demons run, but if you take into account that rory dies a lot, mabey he dies for good.
@TheVidKid9119 I have been thinking that they were probably going to kill Rory for good (though I really hope they don't). I think the theory that he's the good man that River kills is true. He's the only person other than the Doctor that it would probably be, and the Doctor said himself he's not a good man. Also if she killed the Doctor he would either regenerate or timey wimey his way out of it, so there would be no reason for her to feel so guilty about it (unless she didn't know).
@ladyoftime7 Plus in the episode The Big Bang, River sees Rory and says something along the lines of "Why is the Roman here?" Or something like that, if they do kill him for good, I hope it is in the most epicly epic way, The last Centurion deserves a warriors death.
@TheVidKid9119 The Doctor has commited Genocide oh so many times, has killed so many, has destroyed so much, but has always been brilliant, all the doctors are great in their own way, but this is what I have to say:
Tennant: Satan pit "I'm getting old".
The 10th came out too human somehow, the fury of a timelord unleashed, people who have seen all of tennant will understand me.
The 11th however is already reaching insanity, you are quite right. (1st doctor meets an evil 13th in an episode)
@TheVidKid9119 he is 1000 years old with a history of constant fighting and people dying, loosing his love, loosing his people who would not go a bit insane after all that, and the insanity is part of his charm the new doctor is just a bit more insane the the past ones.
@TheVidKid9119 I know you said that five months ago, but I wanted to say that the Doctor trusted Rose more than Amy. The Doctor rushed to save Amy because he didn't think she could handle herself as well as Rose would have. Alternately, he could just have separation problems because of all he's been through (as you said).
@TheVidKid9119 I'd say that previously he was more level headed and calm, lately he's been letting his emotions get the better of him. It is like he's getting younger, not just physically, but mentally. He kinda acts like a lonely teen who becomes attached easily and lets his emothions drive him through.
I think the doctors companions kind of have a tendency to learn from example they all seem to have this kind of change, at least this season "dieing and coming back stronger for it whether it be emotionally or physically or both" but they all seem to take on some aspect of the doctors heroic presence, rose, martha, donna(for a bit), and now amy and rory :D
