this has allways been a favorite song for me, the hook just sticks in my head. it s a really good song, i love pauls vocals. this album is very good, give it a listen.
vaya disco se marco el ex -vocalista de maiden ,paul dianno y los batllezone son una pasada vaya temas muy heavy recomendadisimo este album para todo heavy metal clasico ...yeahhh
@hentyhorsay When I commented on a photo of him from Iron Maiden on facebook, I asked him "Do you miss those days Paul?" and he said "I miss that wasteline.".
That's very cool, lonstar70! I remember watching all these videos back in the day on Headbanger's Ball, and when the videos showed people in crowds I'd wonder "I wonder how they got to be in that video"
Close. It was Dianno, Clive Burr, Janick Gers, Neil Murray and Pete Willis. The band was called Gogmagog and only produced an EP in 1985 called I Will Be There.
Great to see this video again! I haven't seen it since 1987. Not to mention a great song from a talented vocalist. It's a shame that Iron Maiden can't let bygones be bygones and invite Paul back to do some songs on tour with them. After all, isn't the name of Iron Maiden's tour "Somewhere back in Time?" Well, Paul was a part of those times somewhere. To comment on the song, It's a great song from the male perspective on relationships.

Battlezone was killer (pun intended) live-I saw them play a club show here in upstate SC in the late 80s. Absolutely lethal. Great stuff.

MTV actually showed videos and you looked forward to seeing how late you could stay up on saturday watching headbanger's ball.
Bands like Maiden, Metallica etc. put out entire albums of one kick ass song after another.
With the state of music now it's fuckin depressing. If someone invents a time machine, send my ass back to the 80s!
sorry just felt like saying that, I know other people feel the same way

Man this video takes me back to the days when music was so much better!
You could spend hours browsing through record stores at all the albums/cassettes with great artwork and awesome songs to match.
You could pick up the latest issue of Kerrang, RIP magazine, etc and read about all these bands.

I was at this video shoot. Done in Columbia SC. I'm in the crowd. Somewhere.

Wow, that's a heavyweight lineup!
How the hell did that not get at least one LP to see the light of day?
As a bassist, I've always loved Neil Murray's stuff with Whitesnake.

paul did a great job making them famous but we don't know how far they could have reached with him...
after killers they needed the "final touch" and bruce gave it
but i love pual, his voice and his style!
