Works good! I assume you saw mine and other videos from our fellow Yard Haunters on hauntforum. com. They get credit for discovering a trash bag on the outlet creates back pressure to slow down the velocity of the fog. Outdoors it can create an atmospheric effect, meaning if it doesn’t always hug the ground or wind takes it, it lingers rather than dissipating too quick. John Boorman Excalibur-like. You can see examples on my page shot on Halloween as reference. Drier duct can make it wavy.
There is chicken wire in the middle of the container. The PVC pipe hooks up on one end and the dryer hose hooks up on the other end. The trash bag just lays on top of the dryer hose. This helps diffuse the fog. I put a 50/50 mix of ice and dry ice. It will last a long time. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.
does the pipe or dryer hose run through the cooler? also, does the dryer hose go into the trash bag or does the trash bag juat lay over the hose? how often did you have to put more ice into the cooler?
Its a standard 1000 watt fog machine you can buy anywhere. Make sure you get at least a 1000 watt machine. I tried the smaller verions, they don't work as well
i used a tote and ran small dryer duct in it, i spiraled it down and out, then i fill the ducting with ice then fill the tote with ice to get it super cold. i need to try the trash bag with it now,
@wq1299 The chicken wire is connecting in between the PVC pipe on both ends of the cooler. The ice and dry ice is placed all around the chicken wire. This method worked best for me
The chicken wire goes through the center of the cooler. It connects in between the PVC pipe. The ice surrounds the wire throughout the cooler. Hope this helps!!
@milo1235 I don't under stand the chicken wire? Can you show a video of the inside of the cooler?? Do you keep the ice in the bag or just have it loose.
the only reason it floats up when you don't use the bag is cuase' the wire mesh isn't letting the ice come i contact with the fog, take the mesh out and the bag and you'll be fine. just a suggestion. liked the video
are you cooling the smoke to get this effect?

Great. Have fun with it. I know we did!

I tried and it works perfect. Thanks!! Yes the trash bag is the key .
Nilogaga 4 months ago
The trash simply lays on top of the dryer hose. This helps diffuse the fog when it comes out of the hose
milo1235 4 months ago
So the dryer hose isn't in the trash bag? and the end of the trash bag cut open? so the fog comes out through there? Btw it looks really good.

You still have to use fog juice to make it work. Try it out. It's a inexpensive way to have fun at Halloween!

I tried adapting a smoke machine by putting ice in the tube which work for while, then it just turned into normal 'smoke'.
