Is it just me or does there seem to be a jealous, spiteful, green eyed monster thing going between marina and nana? At 5:23 Marina gets her little jibe in about how the DS9 crew will eventually get as much money as the TNG crew did and then at 5:35 Nana has dagger eyes going at Marina talking about not playing the main part in Othello. Can we say "chick fight?"
I noticed that in the way he acts, from the first ep of DS9. I disliked it; it was like a way of trying to appear serious and profound without knowing what's going on.
@LovingScrubbies I believe that Avery Brooks did, at the Folger Theater in DC. It was a bit before I saw Henry V there, always wished I'd caught Brooks' performance there too.
Sadly, there'll never be a DS9 movie. It's the forgotten series. The very first episode I saw of Star Trek was a DS9 episode. I was 12 yrs old. Then I saw an original series episode. Without anyone to ask, I eventually realized that they were part of the same franchise. It's been 15 years and I still haven't forgotten about Star Trek.
@TreeDwellnGnome DS9 is Trek's underrated gem. I would read reviews and articles about Battlestar Galactica, and once in a while DS9 would be listed as a predecessor of the show (both in tone and because of its production crews). It seemed that all the buzz that BSG was getting was basically part of the legacy of DS9. DS9 is not forgotten, and once it comes on Netflix, it'll find a new audience.
Avery Brooks is a weirdo.

Deep Space 9 is the best Star Trek series. It's a shame it never got a movie. It really was a phenomenal show.

Avery Brooks always, always looks like he's high or something anytime I see him doing interviews or conventions.

DS9 is the only Star Trek series that I don't like.
My personal favorite is TNG

@paradox2358 yeah other than Trials and Tribble-ations and Duet I can't watch DS9 either. TNG on the other hand is awesome

Nana Visitor "Kira" is always so stylish.

@TreeDwellnGnome DS9 is a great series, but I must say, it a second watching of the series to make it grow on me like the others.
But it sure did, and after TNG, I think its the best hands down.
A DS9 Movie would be awesome *sigh*

@TreeDwellnGnome TOS was great, and Next gen was great, but everything after got thinner and thinner. They should have stopped with next gen.
