Tongues is a gift. Paul said do we all speak in tongues? Certainly not. Its not a spiritual measuring rod. I have been baptized in th holyghost and didnt speak in tongues. No problem! In acts another evidence is speaking th word wth boldness
Nothing happened. I opened my mouth, and no words came to me. Blank. Nada. Zip. What's the deal? Seems like no matter how many times I pray--I am not baptized in the holy spirit.
your use of what you claim to be tongues is disgusting, for you are encouraging people to imitate what you are doing, no one needs to be taught how to speak in tongues, it is a gift of the Holy Spirit and so He enables them to do it. this is the problem with many within the church because of this spurious doctrine, people think that all have to speak in tongues at the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and so to prove to themselves that they have they try and copy others, as you have done.
we have all received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and have been endued with power from on high for our own particular ministry within the body. read 1Cor12
we like the apostles have received the Spirit of promise, the baptism of the Holy Spirit. read Ephesians 1.
