Personally I did see this in the theather and love it. Yes it is a very big update to the original when Ray Harryhausen did his stop motion action with the clay figuers.

The guy who says " I have to do it as a man" the actor is Sam worthington starring as Perseus. The snake lady was medusa and the kraken at the end was the sea monster who would sacrifice andromeda, perseus' girlfriend/fiancé. I just know this out of mythology, I haven't seen the film. I thought this movie was pretty good, until...

Well, for one, I liked the plot, liked the characters, loved the battles, and what not. But, they rushed the ending to SHIT. Honestly, all this hype for the Kraken, only to show a very fast and extremely anti-climactic ending. I was expecting a 1 on 1 with him vs the Kraken, but no...just no.

Overall, it was great up to the end. They really screwed up what could have been a damn good movie.

I saw Clash of the Titans in an early screening, and I didnt expect the film to be good. I thought it was just another ripoff. But it was AMAZING!! What a CGI. Then I found HQ on future-movies. info and watched it again. Will do too on blue ray. 4/5

I saw this today and must say that I was pleasantly surprised. It does not come close to any Spring blockbuster, but it does make for an entertaining Saturday matinee flick. Perks to the great score, cinematography and beautiful scenery. The homage to the robot Owl was also clever.
