  • i used to love simon pegg, but that was before I had a housemate last year who looked just like him and was an absolute arse. now my love for him is just a fond memory~

  • I like how all I saw was a shoulder and a wisp of brown hair to Sandler's left and I knew it was Keira Knightley!

  • lol why does he keep them in a separate room? kinda funny

  • @IcyScythe not at all, it's called the green room, where the celebs sit down and watch the show until they go on, loads of shows do it

  • why they sing polish national anthem?:>

  • @iDontFeelYouu It's a joke on Polish workers going to England to work. That's why they're in the builders get up.

  • SMUT! ( :

  • UK - 1

    US - 0

  • @rhiaanbaby Look i have nothing against the United Kingdom or anyone in it, and although this is hardly a contest, you do realize that YouTube, ya know, the sight on which you're viewing this video, is an american company...founded by americans, based in america. Simon Pegg is a great actor, but i'm gonna have to say the US is ahead of you guys by a fuckload. :D

  • @GerbilsOnAGoped Dude that comment is seven months old. lol America may be ahead but you're way behind. lol {XD

  • Where are we going with this? I love Simon.

  • Simon Pegg is so cute

  • Bring back friday night with jonathan ross!

  • ahhah, the leader of the show really looks like Johny Depp :))

  • Ross looks like a horny priest that has escaped from his church with that beard

  • I just googled "Blood and Icecream" trilogy, and at some part in the German article it refers to the green Cornetto: the mint-chocolate-chip Cornetto. Does that really exist? Bloody hell, I'm living in the wrong country...

  • @z1mtschnecker1ch

Mm - my favourite Cornetto. Bad Mint Choc Chip ice cream has that horrible flaky aftertaste, but Cornetto's one is lovely and smooth.

  • @TheConciseStatement

Lovely and smooth, you say? *sighs*

  • @z1mtschnecker1ch are you serious? you don't get mint chocolate chip where you're from? that's my favourite one!

  • @IronMaiden2924

I'm serious, I'm afraid. *is serious* Germany likes its mint in tea, bubblegum, and After Eights and that's about it. Horribly backwards in that perspective. :-)

  • @z1mtschnecker1ch oh my, you are certainly missing out!

  • What's with the Polish Anthem and why they didn't take off their helmets?

  • They fit so well together :D So funny!! I like how they are friend because it become so easygoing everything they talk about.. I like the jailthing xD so random.

  • Why do people have to compare actors? They are both totally diff. and both seem genuinely humble and good natured. But if we must, Keira looks to me like a rail thin, British Sasha Grey.

  • 5:11 knightly's face is pricless

  • @itfben

Hahahaha thanks for pointing that out

    So fuuucking funny

  • I miss four puffs and a piano!

  • Man I go from thinking Knightley is some fucked up evil hobgoblin to wanting to bend her over

  • real polish anyone?

  • It's hilarious when Ross says that about moving in with a man and Pegg, with a completely serious face, says "Absolutely, it's all about pleasure man"

  • the jodie marsh joke was hilarious.

  • Lol The first 2 mins were hilarious. The whole interview was great.

  • Simon Pegg is brilliant

  • haha that osama vin laden reference is from harold and kumar

  • I met him today, lovely man :)

  • Oh Simon Pegg. I think I may be in love with you.

  • @zephranna01 Hidden racist values, that's nonsense dude. There are three schools in my city with 50+% Polish children, most classes are being taught in Polish and English kids are learning Polish at the same time Polish kids are learning English.

A Pole living and working in England can see the funny side of replacing the standard four English guys in Ross's old show with four Poles, there is a HUGE Polish workforce in this country now, and they have a reputation for hard work Heh ha.

  • Point is the BBC is unlikely to air obvious or even hidden racist views with such a large population making up its license paying viewers.

  • You still haven't pouinted out what's racist about it, though.

  • @zephranna01 The people pointing out that the four men are white, are the ones who're edging toward racism. The fact that all four are Polish makes them "four Poles", and the fact that they've replaced four puffs "on a piano", makes them "four Poles on a piano".

The colour of their skin has no bearing at all on anything, except to the bigoted, the confused, or the intellectually challenged. Also: They're all men! Shocking, anyone would think from this that there are no Polish women! #LOL #FAIL

  • Jesus christ how beautiful is Kiera Knightley?

  • SIMON PEGG FTW

  • not funny, what a waste. jonathen ross.??

  • Pols thing was a bit racist

  • @saleri They didn't do it under duress, and the fact it grates against absurd politcal correctness and calls for racism is what makes it funny. Four men identified as "four Poles" is NOT racism. Like "four puffs and a piano" is not offensive, either.

  • it really wasnt ur just too politicaly correct

  • This is by far the best and funniest interview on the Friday Night with Jonathan Ross!

  • wait did he say 18 stones?!?! thats like 250 pounds. he doesnt look like it.

  • @foreverremembered i think it was a joke

  • @foreverremembered

Another retarded American.... what a surprise..

  • @tdk2592 are you saying that I am the retarded American?

  • @foreverremembered Hes a tall man.

  • 4 Poles on a Piano ? wow that was so offensive but also sooo funny

  • @Tomazi12

    How is it?

  • what year was this interview?

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOL four polls and a piano. My firend is plosh and he openly jokes about how poor and scheme poland is, awsome none the less.

  • Adam Sandler is lame as hell. I can't beleive he brought this inbred fool on this godly show.

  • @Japanorama fuuuuuuck off hes a hero

  • i am from Poland but i don't find this joke offensive :)

(and i like the applause they received from the audience ;p)

and when he said that we are great and cheap workers.. so what?

great and cheap employee equals EXCELLENT employee *_*

  • his facial hair makes him look like a homo

  • Simon nude...that's a nice image.

  • i loved this look on jonathan!

  • that house band is... really... really... bad.

  • @Genomatekk Yes. That's... kind of the joke.

  • man, i wish we got Jonathon Ross in the US...this guy is really funny

  • @GriffithAMPS We do get Jonathon Ross in the US on BBC America.

  • @GriffithAMPS BBC America ; )

  • @GriffithAMPS you should SO watch graham norton then :')

  • Oh I adore Simon!! What a freakn babe =D

  • there is alot of polish in Ireland too, everyone i've met from Poland is sound!

  • I am sick of the way are shown Polish people in UK...stupid, doing low pay jobs, drinking al the time...I live in UK many years and I was study here and I have great job...people dont be so stupid dont believe what TV say about Polish and Poland..they wash your brain..

  • It's because it's a joke that appeals to so many British people.

On the way to school each day i would see about 50 Polish buidlers working on the homes around my school.

A few years ago the same jokes were being used but with the Irish, now because there are so many Polish workers, the jokes are about them.

  • If you live in Britain you should understand British humour. This is a complete joke its not offensive or meant or meant to be so.

  • I would imagine from your syntax that you're not polish.

  • he moved his tie like david brent

  • I hate Adam Sandler but Simon Pegg and Keira Knightley are somewhat genius.

  • oh god, the beard does not suit jonathan ross

  • They sing Polish Anthem, i dont think thats really appropriate

  • thanks guy's, really cleared that up!

  • Maybe

  • is that the band that was on scrubs?

  • No.

  • Yes

  • they appeared on scrubs in one episode. singing a song at the end of an episode

  • Oh my. This is amazing.

I love Simon Pegg and Adam Sandler and Keira Knightley too much for words.

  • love simon and adam soo much :) and of course kiera knightly :)

  • I Love Him :D(L)

How to Lose Friends and Alienate People is soo funny xD

  • I love keria knightley

  • crowd says it all

  • Ross Looks like a cross between Guy Fawkes and Tony Stark

  • @TheShadowGoblin and oscar wilde

  • Spaced. And that's this debate settled ;)

  • What a fucked up world where Adam Sandler gets a larger applause than Simon Pegg.

  • I agree, whilst sandler is good, he is still a product of regurgitated american humour, knowhere near the creative ability of Simon Pegg at all.

  • I'm guessing you're not American, while I am. You may take some comfort in knowing that general brand of terrible American humor has been slowly dying over the years.... I know I take pleasure in that. No more shampoo or imaginary penguin sequence type stuff makes it out ot editing rooms anymore. Unless we are talking Family Guy, but that was ok all along.

  • The downside for your guys is that Ricky Gervaise, Russell Brand, Eddie Izzard and Graham Norton work more here in the states than they do over there....... I personally apologize, but I will personally stand in their way at the airport if they ever try to fly back. You owe us this much for Simon Cowell.

  • We figured since there were more of you you might be able to disipate the Cowell. Didn't work, he just kept growing like a bacterial infection. Tell you what, keep Cowell and you can have Norton and Gervaise. We'll occaisionally need Izzard and Brand though, for strategic defence purposes.

  • True mate, you know what your talking about

  • I got a great idea for a movie, its adam sandler and a dog, he wakes up one morning and they have exchanged bodies!!

  • that film could definately happen. I'm not joking.

  • Abso-bloody-lutely

  • @jophus82 But he's more famous...

  • @jophus82

i know he is soooooooo much funnier

  • Comment removed

  • @jophus82 thats true.

if you dont mind me asking what part of America are you from?

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @jophus82

    of course

  • @jophus82 I don't think that's fair. Simon Pegg is a regular, where as when people come over from America, usually on one of their first or second shows they get a loud applause because it's irregular to have them on the show.

  • @jophus82 They're both good actors, Adam is just a bit more known

  • @jophus82 adam sandler is by far better than simon pegg, both are very good though

  • @EpicVideoxD noooooo..... not in the last twenty years anyway.

  • @EpicVideoxD Simon Pegg is a far better acter, and far funnier then adam sandler. Sandler has recylced the same, quite murmar, followed by loud shouting over and over. Sandler wishes he could be in apart of something half as brilliant as SHaun of the dead

  • @Jefferies1903 adam sandler better than simon pegg - what world are you living in? did simon pegg win the lifetime achievement award at the oscars? wow some people are so stupid, on top of that i can tell your english (like me)

  • @EpicVideoxD Thats terrible, lifetime achievement award. He makes average comedies. Shaun of the Dead and Hot fuzz are superb. What are sandlers best films? Happy gilmour? Ander Management?... Yeh your right, they really do deserve him a lifetime achievment award.....

  • @jophus82 Sandman is a legend tho

  • @Conoraus In what way?

  • @jophus82 was in the contract when he agreed to appear, but you're right it is a fucked up world

  • pff, they're both funny.

  • i reckon Simon Pegg looks like Matthew Corbet from Sooty do u agree?

  • That's what he's paid to do, it's all a joke. The reason the show does so well is because of his comments who are obviously better than him.

If you take it that seriously, I'm surprised you can watch any of Simon Peggs films.

  • lol, chinminge

  • he looks like downey jr. here

  • Jonathan Ross reminds me of Carl Barat

  • ew, no.

  • no wtf r u on?

  • NO...................

  • Thumbs down says it all mate.

  • the facial hair suits him - makes him look younger

  • Which is weirtd cos it'd make most people look older.

  • it bothers me more when they dont let us English people watch it, but Americans can.

It pisses me off because this stuff was made in England

  • I dunno, I mean I think it's nice that people who can't watch it on the telly get to see it. Makes sense doesn't it?

  • But he's funny and usually brings out natural behaviour from his guests. They seem at ease talking to him and there's a lot of back-and-forth banter. I think he's great.

  • Same, he's absolutely hilarious :D

  • Agreed, much better than Letterman and Kimmel.

  • What???? He's given more freedom than FCC's chained US talk show host.

  • nice mustache and beard jonathan!

  • Weheyyy Polish Anthem !

  • Bloody hell, Simon Pegg, Adam Sandler and Keira Knightley, pretty good guest list :P

  • american humour and british humour are very different, if that answers your question ;)

  • yea, main diffrence is british humour on show's is actualy funny

  • Why can't American talk shows be this brilliant?

  • Because American talkshows dont have brittish humour in them.

  • lol well...obviously. I didn't really mean my comment as a rhetorical question...I basically meant that I WANT American talk shows to be this brilliant...but that would be hard to establish without us 'stealing' more ideas from the british. I believe we've stole enough shows and ideas from them already. :(

  • we are too loud to be this cool. it shows in the comedy style too. most people hate the US version of the Office but it fits when you realize the mentality is way different. I also think the US and canada are raped by corporations through media and all that. esentially molded to think as consumers. different mentality than other people in the world.

  • Thanks for the reply but it's a rhetorical question! lol...meaning no reply needed.

  • but you said, "I didn't really mean my comment as a rhetorical question"

but i know what you mean, tim minchin had a very clever observation about the humor differences (not that that's what ur talking about)

  • keira knightley comes across as really false

  • Does any1 have the nick frost interview.

  • small correction: 4 Poles, the piano and ours national anthem!!

do you sing yours in a safety helmet?

    disgusting.

  • Oh chill out, it's called comedy.

  • Yeah you're probably right, although we do try. Perhaps we could incorperate some of your profound television shows. Maybe Gladitors? Wrestling? Basketball? Bill O'Reilly? Yes, American television is where it's at. You can really speak your mind on American television.

  • Pretty good band :)

  • lol facial hair men!!!

  • Ginger splendor!

  • I love simon pegg

  • I love simon pegg and jonathan ross.

  • he came to my school today

  • I went fishing with my dad sunday...

  • LMAO She heaves a little bit...

  • jonathan usualy have a good lineup, there is alot of celebs that like his show, its not so stuck up as most of the talk shows. they can be abit more themselfs

  • Simon Pegg, Adam Sandler, Keira Knightly and Polyphonic spree?! o.O

    AMAZING LINEUP!!

  • Simon Pegg Rocks, no way, he's the best!

  • damn, that's an impressive lineup!

  • That whole interview was really funny. LOL.
