You can get starcraft II for free like this: 1.Search on google: Starcraft US beta closed.....after download and install let it apply patches

2. Search and download SC II all in one launcher......Put it in SC II game folder

3.Launch SC II all in 1 launcher...choose the newest patch(not the option called newest....choose...the newest patch that has a number.....Exemple: Patch 1.5.6

The terrans' advantages are their attack range (their only melee unit is the firebat), mobility (they're good at traveling; even their buildings can fly) and their ability to defend (with easy-to-build bunkers). I prefer them because they're kind of a balance between the Zerg and the Protoss. Their units aren't too weak, but not too expensive either.
