Oh my gosh, this part of the game reminded me of Mission 18+ (8492) in Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War. You could tell something was amiss; and then the missile alerts coming from the "friendly planes".... it was way too reminiscent of 8492. :P And this music as the backdrop just made it all the more suspenseful. I LOVE THIS GAME.

I feel this one is just a little too predictable though.. The storyline was incredibly well thought out in The Unsung War and progressing through the plot was filled with things you didn't anticipate.

@F22RaptorSquadron I think both were predictable. In Assault Horizon, the way Stagleishov treats you hints that he's not really a part of it. And in 5, the 8492nd's attack on the engineering college and halting of friendly reinforcements to November City were both heard on the radio, so you could tell they weren't who they said they were. Neither was more predictable.
