I do like Joe and have done for many years, But when SRV was on this show he completely done the show effortlessy and sounded great but yet a technical genuis like Satriani wasnt to hot in this performance. Maybe it was Jonathon Mover or the show host that plays guitar later with them are to blame for Satrianis average performance...?
THis is a six string banjo. Is it tuned the same as a six string guitar? It is amazing what he did with this instrument. A very different animal in some ways from the five string banjo as far as how it can be played. Or four string for that matter. Really cool!
the only musician who helped me break down a musical barrier I had. He taught me that the reason i wasnt enjoying music was because I improvised too much. I had nothing set in stone.

thats not a banjo its a banjitar haha. in other words its a regular guitar with 6 strings built in a banjo's frame. most banjos have 5 or 4 strings
