I heard this was a big Failure, just another over hyped POS, Like the New Iphone 4G. Th 3G was the nicest design. Apple is loosing it' edge, it's just a fashion.

@Leojx94 I'd hate to sound like a fanboy, but I'm going to have to disagree with you. The iPad was a complete success. They're still selling more than they can make. Now, the iPhone 4 was a HUGE success. They sold over 3 million within a couple of weeks. Doesn't sound like a failure to me and everyone else in the world. And have toy ever put a 3G and a 4 next to each other? The 3G doesn't even come close in terms of design (or anything else for that matter).

@gumballtech Yup, you sure don't sound like a fanboy. Apple is a success because it is a Fashion. Monkey see monkey do. The 4g might have very nice features, but I would prefer a phone that can actually make phone calls. The phone has major issue, like every 1st product from Apple. BTW, the 3g feels better in your hands and looks sleeker, again this is my Opinion. 4g looks like a phone another Manufacuer would of Designed.

@Leojx94 Have you even owned an Apple product? My guess is no. The iPhone 4 is a fine phone. I can call everyone in the world with mine without any problems. Antennagate? Came and gone. Not a big deal, and never was IMO. Get a case. Problem solved. You can't stick with the same design forever. The 3G>4 when it comes to design. The 3G looks heavily outdated.

well the web doesnt play flash or java, so dont count on it, but hopefully the facebook app will get it soon

idk i kinda like this, it reminds me alot of a kindle, but better. Instead of wasting my money on a laptop, and a new ipod..I can just get this, and i can browse the web, idk seems pretty cool.

If you have an smartphone, a laptop and a desktop, why on earth would you want this? Why would you consistently watch video on this, rather than a flatscreen TV? This is a fancy e-reader and web browser. And that's not new. Nice packaging and delivery, but that's about it. I love Apple stuff and I wanted to like this more, but...

If I didn't already have an iPhone, I'd probably consider getting this. All it is is a big iPod Touch. Either you love it or you hate it.

@gumballtech we are in 2010 if you dont have a laptop or desktop then there is no way in hell your going to attempt in affording this.even if you could get this the money you waisted on this first gen. crap you could buy a laptop or a smart phone. they also leave out that there is no camera function or flash inside shamelessg is right is a cheap e reader and they say that the starting price is 499 for wifi web browseing and 16 gb for a wifi connected ipad thats 64 gb its 699

@gumballtech thats what you will need in order to put movies and a whole lot of shit on it ... not to mention there comeing out with an i pad 3G so that you wont need wifi and that starts at 629 for a 16 GB and a 64 GB is 829 thats the price of a nice windows laptop and you can do so much more with a laptop

What you would use it for at home is same as what you allready do , imagine useing it on the go lol , it wont fit in pocket and the battery will die very quickly , seems a real big pointless device to me.

Great for watching movies, and reading ebooks.. Also the way that pictures and websites can be viewed is very nice.. But still.. it has the same OS like the iPhone/iPod Touch, no flashplayer, no multitasking.. It's a bit dissapointed, because i expected more of it.
