  • Just did this with my motorcycle tire. Can't get the front tire to pop...lol I had to put out with water...ill try again tomorrow...

  • A lot of car garages actually do this

  • Mythbusters called it busted. I have to say mythbusters totally missed the point if you are on the side the road and nave to take a tire off a rim and place another on same rim you can not inflate it until you seal the ring. If you don't get that seal you can have 50 air compressors but you will NEVER inflate the tire. The only chance you have is if you get some fuel and do this. We did this but removed the tiny thing in the stem so it would not vacumn. Then fill with air compressor.

  • LOL

  • all u had to do was put a lil bit of starting fluid around stick da air hose on it and it woulda inflated

  • Nothing new. I heard a similar technique was used by Jocelyn Wildenstein.

  • fastest tire mounting i ever seen !

  • ever tryed it with oxygen and esediline omfg crzyest thing i ever done

  • this is not your invention, you should delete that!! that trick has been used by truckers ever since big rigs were created!! FAIL!!

  • Now just when exactly do I claim to have invented this??? Don't be a dick. Obviously we've seen it done before and friends of mine did it years ago so I'm clearly not the first.

  • This is very common in tire shops. We did this all the time in the '80's in the shop I worked at.

Maybe not so common as it used to be.

  • @filthyphillyboy that's the kind of stuff they tell us not to do at school lol.

  • i had to use this to have sex with my fat wife...

  • this is very clever!

  • The fins and the swedes have done this for decades. and they're way better at it

  • hahahahahahahaha holy shit

  • holy shit I can't believe it worked!

  • they did this on top gear

  • they did this on top gear

  • @nonginger this was in 2006

  • The trick is that it takes a lot more "fuel" than you think. Works like a charm on my snow blower tires.

  • You guys suck a this. Yankee ingenuity? Yankee fail.

  • Hardly a fail if it clearly worked.

  • Baabaabooooey

  • yankee ingenuity?? The Icelandics were doing this many many years ago

  • Funny thing is I went to tech 2 years for automotive and one time when the tire machine failed and we didn't have a cheetah I suggested this and we actually did this trick...

  • it collapses because hot air takes more space than cold air, so when the air cools it takes less space, so the tire collapses upon itself. voila.

  • i gotta do that to my mustange! check out my channel !

  • for once rednecks have it right. Go rednecks!

  • @mrmallen09. U no what fuck u. Rednecks know how to have fun. Alirght its fun doin stupid shit lmao like almost blowing urself up :)

  • real people just take it to a tire shop....

  • Invented by the Chinese.

  • That was cool

  • goooooood

  • I've seen this done with 50 inch tires. They do it because the tire was off the beadlock and the easiest way to put it back on is just like that. As long as u don't catch that fucker on fire ur good to go haha

  • Fail on the first two attempts

  • Lol

  • Omg that's great I have to remember that

  • fuck soviet russia ok

  • I would if laughed if it popped

  • Irt made wanna look this up

  • this is honestly the fastest way to do it also the eaysiest.

  • down at the semi tire place i work at we do this for every tire we have to replug i do it anyware from 200-300 times a day. funnest job ever =P

  • Gotta love it, not only does it serve a purpose, but there is fire involved.

  • the guy in the beginning sounds exactly like billy mays

  • GREAT VIDEO! We are looking for people to upload there best REDNECK videos. The best REDNECK videos will be put into our pilot for a nationally syndicated tv show. Upload your video now at TRAILERPARKNETWORK COM. upload as many REDNECK videos as you want. We want your best for our pilot. if we use yours...there will be a prize. TRAILERPARKNETWORK COM!!!!

  • That was awesome

  • hahah like 2 yrs ago me n my buddies blew a flat and instead of calling a wrecker we decied to fix it out selfs but we used gas and poured a cap full around the rin word of advise u have to hit it with your hands till it makes a loud boom it gave us enought air pressure to support a lincon towncar till we got to the gas station

  • @keeblerelf66623 My luck I would just burn up a tire or blow up my car! I'll leave this to the professionals!!

  • I just watched this on Ice Road Truckers haha!

  • SWEET

  • SWEET!

  • WTF????

  • @curbhash yes you can use a special sand that is place in the tyre before mounting it. The sand is synthetic and round . it spreads around in the tyre and high speed and couter ways any imballence. no need for any lead att all

  • WOW...... rednecks invented magic

  • i use to have to do that w 4440 john deere tires..lol..it was fun.

  • they suck at it....

  • Could the near-collapse of the tire be avoided if the valve is left out of the valve stem, so that as the gases cool and contract immediately after the explosion air could be sucked in through the stem?

  • My friend chose to do it this way so he could put the air chuck on it and replenish the air before the tire popped back off the bead as was the case on previous attempts due to the large rim size. I guess its a matter of preference really.

  • @upajos if he left the valve stem out he could not put it back in. the tires valve stem goes in from the inside

  • @MrBuckkiller55 think he was talking about unscrewing the valve insert not the valve stem itself

  • @MrBuckkiller55 im sure he meant the core not the stem u dipshit

  • @upajos Remember when the fire inside the propellant expand the tire? When you quickly put in compressed air, the temperature differences caused the air and heat to make a vacuum that implode the tire from the inside. When you fill it with air, the tire returns back to normal shape. Try it with a hot 55-gal drum and cold water.

  • Thats actually how you mount big vehicles when they are on the field lolll

  • Fuckin ey!! Ether is the best

  • How does the fire make the flat tire mount on to the wheel? I don't see how the fire would do this.

  • @moofushu it creates an expansion of gases.... I've seen that done in tire shops for big rig tires... it is really kewl..

  • @moofushu The starting fluid mixes with air and makes an explosive mixture. A flame is used to set it off and the rapidly expanding hot gases seat the tire beads onto the rim.

  • Hell, been doing that since late 70"s. old school on ALL simi and large truck tires...Works well.

  • @moose1835

Yep. That's the way I always did it. I sprayed a line on the tire and lit it directly with a lighter though.

  • IN SOVIENT RUSSIA PEOPLE ARE STUPID AND UGLY

  • What i would like to see on these types of video's is..Keeping your fingers on the inside of the rim when its inflated and carry on filming when the guys fingers are trapped and he's screaming in agony ! Now that would be worth watching.

  • "The fire sucking it in" Fucking Geniuses...

  • @JCOheros That's actually pretty accurate. The fire is starving for oxygen so it's sucking from wherever it can. There's an experiment getting an egg into a bottle that has a neck that's just smaller than the egg that proves this.

  • wow. im going to start doing that.

  • That looks dangerous.

  • a couple of guy tried this in Van Buren Arkansas ,it failed several times till they really poured the starting fluid into it,then they lite it and it rocketed off the floor an hit the roof of the shop 20 feet above it could have took their head off

  • @majorl311 Sounds like it works for rednecks but not hillbillies.

  • They may be rednecks but I think that is prety smart

  • If it takes you 3 trys to get it, your not doing it right!!! MORE ETHER!!!

  • shit i did that today with spray paint it was funner than hell

  • i think it would be easier to take out the valve core

  • Well done show these mommas boys how we do it when you don't own a 10000.00 tire machine plus half the battle is just putting the tire on old school like here, redneck or old country style

  • My Dad showed me how to do this a long time ago, this is how it's done in the real world when it needs done.

  • I do the same thing to my dick when I put a condom on.

  • Have tried it on a 13" wheel..It works. Its cool.

  • works best with the valve core removed

  • wow,... amazing... never saw that trick done dude i'll have to give it a try lmao!

  • HOW DOES THIS WORK?????

  • @ar15freak The starting fluid explodes, which creates a lot of hot, expanding gases. They push out on the inner walls of the tire, creating a seal when the tire contacts the edge of the rim. When those gases cool down, they shrink in volume, causing the tire to start to shrink as seen in the video.

  • you can use any type of flameable gas...

  • It will have inert gas inside the tire now.

  • @3Mudbone1 No, you will not. The small volume of CO2, H20, and byproducts of incomplete combustion are insignificant once they began pumping up the tire when it shrunk.

  • danny devito in the background?

  • yheaaaaaaaaaaa 0:55

  • thts how we do it!

  • that was cool

  • i was like: WTF is going on O_o :D

  • @Green95Hoe

    you mean "Conventional Starting Fluid"?

  • whats up with the " in Soviet Russia ?" blah blah blah i see it everywhere on youtube?

  • @babyharpseal it's an old joke that a standup comedian used as part of his skit.

  • @babyharpseal everything is just the opposite of whats said.

  • Kick the tires and lite the fires.

  • i do that shit at work all the time

  • OH SHIT TIRES ON FIRE KICK IT!!

  • what did you use as spray?

  • Conventional Starting Fluid

  • around the whole thing ding-bing!

  • As a soldier, we did this in the field, it works, I have also done this while atv riding to reset the bead on a buddies 4 wheeler ( we were 10 miles from a garage or tools). Poof were done. Don't do this with the wheel still on the ATV tho, or you might have to use your "short section" as a fire extinguisher.

  • good idea

  • iv done that before on semi tires lol

  • I've seen guys do this on those big firestone terra tires (same tires they run on the monster trucks) - its the only way to get them to seat the bead. Watch a 1200 lb tire jump off the floor!!!

  • they have done this in Iceland for years now

  • I've done this fwith two sets of tires for my ATV. Damn, I was stupid as hell!

  • hey fuck that im no redneck, im a tyre and ive done this before, it's a pretty easy way to do it if you dont have a airblaster

  • @ika7n - You're a tyre?

  • what the hells id doin doin

  • IN SOVIET RUSSIA TIRE MOUNTS YOU

  • @surplusdriller dude thats not funny...

  • @JJMWOOD yes it is

  • @JJMWOOD yes it is lol

  • @surplusdriller because russians have no power, and they like it like that.

  • @surplusdriller Fuck russians

  • @surplusdriller I hope the tire used Vaseline.

  • done this numerous times at the dealership. works great for those tricky large syde wyall tyres (for all you aussies) lol.

  • It doesn't hirt the tire any to set the bead this way. BUT you need to empty all the air out after the bead is set. there could be some either left it the tire and it may blow later on when driving. that is how we have been setting the bead on transport tires for years in Canada.

  • the first 30 seconds of this clip could be cut but other than that, that's pretty slick

  • Dude that's freakin awesome. I will probably use this.

  • Lets celebrate wit some sausage and peppers.

  • @fredsparts IDK what the fuck that means, but hell yea.

  • @fredsparts HECK YEAH!!!

  • omg , it's cool!!!!

  • So heres a fun question for ya. I don't have an air compressor, is it gonna be ok if i just let it go? Like let ti sit there, because if I understand Fire correctly, it needs air to burn, and if there is no more air flowing into the tire after it pops up, then it should dissipate and just be fine, yes?

  • hahahahaha that was awesome dude!!!!!!!!!

  • is that bad for the tire?

  • @Green95Hoe

its i befor e butt it is bouth spelled tyre or tier it dount mater lol o by the way im only 10 years old and i now this lol

  • Gettir Dunn!

  • @Green95Hoe how do you know what iv seen? iv seen it spelled that way. i mean yea i see tire more then anything. but if seen it as tyre at junkyards and a manal for my towncar. but whatever it really doesnt matter.

  • I take my tyres to a tyre garage

  • awesome!!!!!!

  • lol, hell of a way to do it :P

  • Did they remove the valve core before they did this?

  • Yes we did. Some prefer it in but ive had better luck doing it with it out.

  • what kinda spray is that??

  • @TheRetard1030 WD-40

  • wow rofl NICE~!!

  • yall perdy ladies,, get er dunn

  • Rednecks and yankees don't even come close to being the same thing

  • that pretty nifty if u tell me :)

  • @nuclearthreat545 you dont know much about mounting tires do you? if the tire wont bead with air pressure you use ether and it expands like they did and seals the tire ask anyone at a tire shop

  • good work love it lolololololo

  • thats a pretty common way to do that, spray some ether in it and light it up, you yuppie idiots can keep going to wal mart and paying out the ass to have it done for you

  • Did you ever get Greg Smith shop equip. to pay you for using your video on their website

  • No I never followed up and havent been able to find the video on his website. Maybe im just not looking hard enough.

  • fire feeds off the air in the tire causin what happened

  • @countryissickashell true but with the fire also causes the air to RAPIDLY expand which is why it seats the tire on the rim and since the flame is gone thats why the tire shrinks down is the air cools and contracts

  • I have blown my share of tires up like that that but i have never seen one suck in like that one did...

  • cool

  • Not a technique I've seen before.

  • @darkiansmith its old way of mounting tires

  • awesome tire mounting thank ya

  • that aint redneck sh111t real beaners came up with that ...........

  • 0:36 what was the point of the last spray?

  • take the valve core out befor you mount it so it dont suck in

  • Love the accents.

  • Now that's necktology for you

  • well, that's an interesting physics lesson. They should do this in the classroom.

  • very nice

  • haha that look pritty cool haha

  • what is the spray can?

  • @MrJakoby09 Engine starting fluid containing ether. It's very commonly used for expanding tires that are too wide for the rims.

  • did he died?

  • Beats hell out of busting your knuckles with tire irons.

  • thank god for rednecks

  • Whats the can used to make the fire??

  • gotta love them rednecks lol

  • i did this at work with a skid steer tire and burned that hair off my hand it was really funny

  • @bobcats330 I do this all the time and never had an incident. Usually spray and use a roofing torch to ignite or a cattle prod.

  • Whats redneck about that ... we were taught the same procedure in the military...

  • @gladio4ever so thats where my dad learned that.

  • @gladio4ever so thats where my dad learned it. he used to be in the army in the early 60s

  • ive never seen it done that way before....i need to try that

  • @dakcball my dad used to do it when he changed his Tires on his Semis

  • can that work on bikes?
