  • JAI JINENDRA

  • Jai jinendra ,actually the first thirthanker or bhagwan as we call it is rushabdev and the last is mahavir swami!!!!!!!!!!!!!!U welcome peeps out there.

  • ARIHANTS are those who have destroyed 4 destructive types of karmas that bond to the soul and have attained keval gyan (as a result of destroying gyan-avarniya karma). SIDDHAS are more accomplished than ARIHANTS because they have destroyed all the 8 types of karmas that bond to the soul.

  • Beautiful. Could you pls post the lyrics and the translation into English? ThnQ very much.

  • Can you Plz Tell me a meaning offf "NAMO ARIHANTARAM???" coz some1 told me really really great Definition of this MANHA MANTRA and Mahaveer

  • Namo arihanaram means prayer or paying respect to arihant(top position of god) in jainism.

In namokar mantra arihant(tirthankars, supreme position), sidhha(free of re-birth and don't have any shape), achary(head of any group of monk),upadhyay(teach in group of monk) and sadhu(A member of group of monk) are worshiped respectively.

There are 24 tirthankars in jainism. Mahaeer is last and adinath is first one.

  • amit79111: Thank you very much for your help in understanding.

  • If you have any doubt about jainism you can contect any time without hasitating.

  • Can you kindly tell me what are "tirthankars" amit79111?

  • There are 24 tirthankars in jain community. First one is Adinath and last 24'th is Mahaveer.

Tirthakars are the most respected and supreme god in jains.

  • Thank you for your kind reply amit.

  • I also want to add this here in Jainism we have accepted God as Supreme but not as Creator of Universe

  • Thank you nipunjain999 that is a very interesting perspective.

Is there a Creator of the Universe in Jainism?
