A long time ago, back when maple story was just the 4 classes, before guilds and the trade areas, I played with a trio of people who I enjoyed my time with immensely. ChawowaV2, Rumi and Megawarrior. 3 people who I've long since lost contact to, but will never forget the times we spent together. This song reminds me of them, bringing back nostalgia for the old days where we would explore, level and play together. Memories that I'll keep with me always.
i just want to be a noob training in the slime tree for a few days till i hit lvl 20 then kpq till 30 for DAYYYYYYYYYYYYS. training for days on wild boars in perion...teddies in ludi.....i spend like 20 minutes max on lvls 30-40....T_T

I remember the first thing I saw in maplestory was ellinia when my friend introduced the game to me. I thought it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Good times killing slimes, ksing noobs and afking in henesys. Thank you maple story for all the good memories! I don't think I'll ever be able to overcome this nostalgia

This song is a perfect representation of what my memories of Maplestory were. This game relaxed me, I had really, really good times, and it was possibly the most fun I've had playing any game ever. I played for 2006-2009. I yearn for the past. I wish there were some way that I could just go into the past for one week and play with all my old friends, do the Ludi PQ, grind on monsters, try to get to Zakum as a level 51...thank you, Maple, for all of these memories. Nothing will replace you.
@magicboy10xx I'm sure all old maplers yearn for the past. The game doesn't feel the same right now. I find that new maplers are all only interested in grinding all day to level up since it's so much easier now. The days when we only had 4 classes and could take our own time to level up and enjoy the game are the best.
@diablolrm90 I full on out agree bro. I miss the day where the game was hard and built on teamwork. Now it's all about yourselves and money is easy to make. I MISS THE HARD DAYS. THAT IS WHAT MADE THE GAME FUN.

my first ever char on MS was a I/L mage. i remember going to ellinia and getting my job at lvl 8, then going back to heneseys training ground 1 and it was full of people just like me. we all chatted and i was there for a good few days befor i moved on. this was about 4 years ago on GMS
I love this song. I played this for about 3 - 4 years. I still play it now. Before the big bang things were cool and fun and not as confusing. The song makes me feel happy and remind me of how I had so many good times

But then my brother decided that he wanted to be social, so he started working out, rowing crew, and spending a lot of time with his friends from school.

Starting from beta version all the way up to right after ludibrium came out, I played and loved maple story. I wish I could freeze time just to play this game again. I don't even like video games, but this was the source of my happiness as a child. I just began to cry out of remembering pure joy this game brought to me each and every day. Thank you maple story.

1:20-2:09 the forest is progressively becoming alive with the movment of animals and there bizzy lives gathering food, teaching their young, and building nests. you can see the sunlight shining thu the trees

I remember Maplestory in its early days - I think I played from version 0.06. I really don't know what they're on now, but I remember it high up into 0.6X or 0.7X, at which point I just quit. This theme really brings back great memories. Maplestory was my LIFE back then. The adventures of hours in the Ludi PQ, when there weren't any level 200s, when the game was legendary. It's sad that from what I've heard it's just gone downhill.
2006 - 2008 player, man i loved that game. it brings back memories of friends i made, and the HOURS i would play this. Me and my brother fighting over the computer and being sad that we could never play together. getting to level 50 was like the best moment of my life xD

When it thrives, more users come-- some good some not so good. I have been a Mapler since October of 2010. I can say that it has changed quite a bit. I don't like the new maps but the new additions has made maple more interesting, and I don't like the new exp of lower level monsters.

I played when being at lvl 20-30 was some of the best playing ever. People used to party invite instead of asking to CC. I was before cash shop, and I remember when when broa first came out. I really miss LPQ to be honest, it was my favourite PQ. All the channels used to be so crowded; it was really fun. And places too, like the Green Mushroom Ellinia tree. No one goes to those places anymore. There's too many maps and classes.

I miss my days of Tespia - didn't really enjoy maple anymore when it went official. Playing globally was awesome (before the SEA gateway). Perion ch1 was the market back then. You used to have to explore to find the high levels because there was no ranking. The days when vivi was one of the highest - Level 6x fire wizard lol. Oh yea and the notorius hacker TehSpearman. Ahh good times. Oh yea and Mildsoss Level 8x assassin.

I remember being thirteen and just having an astounding sense of adventure, and wonder, at all the old school maple (before nexon =/). I had my hunter. My ADVENTURER. Discovering all the interesting things this seemingly simple, side-scrolling game, had to offer. Honestly, I probably wouldn't ever play again, since that was ten years ago when I started..But I met some great people/had a BLAST! =]

I remember when I first started out with the magician class, this song became something like an anthem to me.
And the beginning quests Grendel gives you, they were fun to do.

hi, when I hear this I just want to say that the old maplestory wasn't just a game. It was really a way of magic for me. I guess it's gone but lives through my heart somewhere. We all got this magic feeling from the old maplestory. It was a part of my grow- up.

@djiero I totally agree. This makes me want to live it again. This game was, and probably still is, magical. It was an escape from reality for me haha. I was pretty satisfied with my real life, but I've always wanted a magical one.

this song tells me a story. i can actually picture it in my mind
0:00-1:20 a forest in the morning becoming wake, the plants and flowers bloom, the animals wake up slowing in there beds ready to start the day.
1:20-2:09 the forest is progressively becoming alive with the movment of animals and there bizzy lives gathering food, teaching their young, and building nests. you can see the sunlight shining thu the trees
2:09-2:27 the peak of forest activaty! almost feels like a city, then! readPT2

No Offence to anyone that plays Maplestory on 2011. It started sucking and becoming Boring. I enjoyed Maplestory back in 2008 ;) Very fun. Now since im bored of that game im Into Runescape now.

I remember Maplestory in its early days - I think I played from version 0.06. I really don't know what they're on now, but I remember it high up into 0.6X or 0.7X, at which point I just quit. This theme really brings back great memories. Maplestory was my LIFE back then. The adventures of hours in the Ludi PQ, when there weren't any level 200s, when the game was legendary. It's sad that from what I've heard it's just gone downhill.

2006 - 2008 player, man i loved that game. it brings back memories of friends i made, and the HOURS i would play this. Me and my brother fighting over the computer and being sad that we could never play together. getting to level 50 was like the best moment of my life xD

Seriously, this happens to all games and forums such as Gaia online which is a forum to post in for gold -- and this game is no exception -- you have small communities that have that small community feeling. When it thrives, more users come-- some good some not so good. I have been a Mapler since October of 2010. I can say that it has changed quite a bit. I don't like the new maps but the new additions has made maple more interesting, and I don't like the new exp of lower level monsters.

maybe i have changed. maybe i have grown tired of the magical maple world with its many realms and creatures. maybe i know too much about the future my characters would have, instead of going into it blindly with my fellow maplers. maybe its because I'm 16 now and all my friends have left it and gone. maybe i maple was always going to grow, but i was stuck in the past with my friends and innocence. back when everyone was a 10 year old. maybe i have changed.... maybe i have changed....

i played with my friend a 10 hours in day and we just having fun.

I miss old maple. I remember when people were friendlier, henyses ch 1 lagged so much because it was the market, and perion wasn't much better. I remember when the only PQ was in kerning. I played when being at lvl 20-30 was some of the best playing ever. People used to party invite instead of asking to CC. I was before cash shop, and I remember when when broa first came out. I miss old maple

@darkslegacy I was before Cash Shop as well and I remember when it came out. All the stuff was so cheap, the Halloween stuff xD
I really miss LPQ to be honest, it was my favourite PQ. All the channels used to be so crowded; it was really fun. And places too, like the Green Mushroom Ellinia tree. No one goes to those places anymore. There's too many maps and classes.

I miss my days of Tespia - didn't really enjoy maple anymore when it went official. Playing globally was awesome (before the SEA gateway). Perion ch1 was the market back then. You used to have to explore to find the high levels because there was no ranking. The days when vivi was one of the highest - Level 6x fire wizard lol. Oh yea and the notorius hacker TehSpearman. Ahh good times. Oh yea and Mildsoss Level 8x assassin.

i want to cry cuz i grew up with maplestory my brother and sister played it ,, even tho it was a game it was part of our family we would spend long nights sitting next to each other tracking for ludi pq ^^. and the day we all hit 120 was highlight of our childhoods, we actually went out to dinner to celebrate . but now, maplestory is different, and corrupt, all for greed? i will never beable to forgive nexon. nexon will never understand what they ruined for me, for all of us.

People say I'm stupid for saying Maple was a part of my life, but it was, and it is. And it will be for a long time. The friends you make on there make it all worthwhile, and I will never forget all the daft things we did and the friendships I made. I loved it. I remember when I started playing it, way back in 2005. Times have changed.

Oh wow, I actually got shivers when I heard this. I played maple many many years ago, tried to restart but its just not the same. Personally I liked maple when it was old-school and simple, this song represents my childhood.

@jax088 Seriously, you couldn't be more right. Screw all the haters. The game used to be so awesome. I remember being thirteen and just having an astounding sense of adventure, and wonder, at all the old school maple (before nexon =/). I had my hunter. My ADVENTURER. Discovering all the interesting things this seemingly simple, side-scrolling game, had to offer. Honestly, I probably wouldn't ever play again, since that was ten years ago when I started..But I met some great people/had a BLAST! =]
