@PierreCorens I have known Brandon for years .he is one of the hardest working and regimented guys I know. His gains have come from hard work and sacrifice with one goal in mind. If you knew him you wouldn't even ask that question. He is a great ambassador for the sport and lives the life of dedication it takes to compete at the level he has achieved.
Face it, symmetry and proportions like Brandon Curry has are genetic gifts, if you don't have those, your gonna have to pull a 'Jay Cutler' look to win...
I noticed many pros sometimes lift only doing partial reps. Is this to warm up the muscles and joints and/or can you gain serious size from only partial reps??
@kennethmiller00, Well the thing is they only do partial reps because they believe that when completing a full rep, for example, bench press, you are using alot of the triceps. They are right to a degree, because other muscles begin to tie in at a certain stage. However, if you are looking to develop the muscle, you must always complete the movement through its FULL range of motion.
@kennethmiller00 It is good to build width and increase mass for a specific length of the muscle. Partial reps are great for adding density to the mid section of a length of muscle.
You I am tired of all the haters. You can take all the damn drugs you want you but if you do not put the work in at the gym, you never see the results thee people see.
Whats te difference in terms of respect among the winners of the USA as apposed to the Mens Nationals? I know in Nats. you can get a P. card by winning your class, where as the USA you have to win the Over All... but does one demand more respect than the other? Nats. gives out more cards, but arent there also more competators?

not everybodys a bodybuilder because most people rather keep their health intact down the road instead of lookin good for a few years then having liver damage and heart failure in their 40's
Yea right every bodybuilder have hearth failure and liver damage. I got news flash for you, many bodybuilders are healthy. Ofcourse eating 6-7 times a day, doing gh, testosterone and insulin and dieting hard can produce some problems and isent extremley healthy in the long run. But still there not dying of it. And YES genetics play a role. Genetics play a role in everything in life. U can get big on steroids but it wont give u a peaked biceps or a rounder chest..got it?
lol most bodybuilders hit their prime around late 30's to mid 40's....they take so many pills and they get so many check ups with their doctor so many times throughout the year to keep em healthy, you just gotta understand bodybuilder....nobody wants to be a healthy pussy for the rest of their life!!!
@Dudelookslikeeylady fullness is when the muscle looks more round and better shaped not flat like ronnie colemans chest for example it looks really flat not as full as brandons. and proportion is how even the muscles are on both sides. take ronnie again for example one of his biceps are way bigger than the other.
@callagoza dude what video are u looking at? Coleman's chest is far from flat. That's a terrible example. Evan Centopani or even Jay Cutler would be better examples of a flat chest.
@chemmy16 yeah but not everyone can get that big even with loads of roids you dipshit ask yourself how come if all it is is roids then why was arnold 6ft 2inches 235 at his biggest and victor martinez for example is 5ft 7 inches and 250 and more cut explain that and guess what nutrition has not changed that much in bbing
@Stachio yeah but arnold was also not taking GH, Insulin, IGF-1, etc. The shit they are on now is wayyyyy more powerful. Notice how every year the bodybuilders just keep getting bigger and bigger. Not saying its all drugs, but if Arnold would have been on the same shit as they're on now he would have been Cutler's size easy...
@TheHardTruth101 oh i know i was just saying thats the point if arnold was on the new shit that would blow i think everyone away if he kept his proportions. i messed up and it came out as a diss to arnold which wasn't intended i guess the better example is sumthing like jay and dex you know
Thats not bodybuilding, thats what a average joe weak minded person would say. Once you learn the basics of bodybuilding go talk shit, but not on the internet.
Alright so you think bodybuilding is gay? Your telling me to pull on a cock? Are you pissed off that your gay or something? Whats wrong with you? Stop thinking like that and grow up.
explosive reps cause your fast twitch muscle fibers to react, fast twitch muscle fibers are the muscle fibers that grow, slow twitch muscle fibers are more common in your legs, because they are such endurable muscles eg. carrying you around all day
to be honest, im not sure, but my guess would be that its both, which a muscle can have, but i doubt that it would be equal more like a 60-40 either way kinda thing, try researching for yourself maybe?
brandon a true freak of nature he is an incredible athlete very strong very fast and very jacked as shit if he wasn't a body builder he would probably be a runningback in the nfl in college he was the strongest and fastest guy on the team i read that he ran like a 4.3 in the 40 what an animal
That's correct. We were classmates in college. I can remember him in the Rec Center of MTSU throwing up some heavy weight even at his size then. That was 4 or 5 years ago. He was a force in the back field and he has always worked hard in the gym! A good Dude all the way!
