This cooler is pretty bad ass. Fits my HAF 922 Mid-Tower perfectly. No it wont break the mobo, it has a strong backplate. =)

this weighs 1.2kg. how safe it is to mount in a verticle setup?? it will be hanging off the the MB. will it crack the MB in the long run under the weight?

Hmmm, I'm not sure. Is it a mid-tower or full-tower case? Full-Tower will fit for sure, I don't know if it will fit (well) in a mid-tower case.

Yes it will but you will need to remove the top left corner fan from the fan door.
