  • @19travieso91 yes you can. and it comes out very good!! i was in an exchange program and some italian girls gave me the recipie and it comes out veryy delicious.. and also if you dont want to use lady fingers you can use honey maid cookies

  • What me and my mum do (shuttup, I like cooking with my mum :3) is coat the lady fingers in condense milk after dunking it in coffee. This adds a nice kick to it and a bit more sweetness :D (cause you totally need more of that xD)

  • @Swiftygleek I've found that when you are mixing sugar, it doesn't matter too much what type of sugar, but caster sugar just mixes easier. The end result should be the same regardless of what sugar you use.

    It's says you're not good cooker or pastrycook if you handle so much the sponges, up to get wet your fingers with coffe.

    Why don't try to use a kitchen tongs to get the sponge wet into the coffe? Apart from this, you can use them to, once wet, place it in the recipient where you are making the tiramisu.

  • @Brofessionalss I don't think so. I am not a professional cook. In fact, I work in an office, and when I cook at home I never handle food so much.

    That's easy, you use kitchen tools, or you don't.

    It's the same as saying that if I cook in a restaurant, I use lot of tools and I don't use nude hands, but if I'm cooking at home for Thanksgiving, I can spit on food.

  • @lilianatje In the original recipe Marsala is used and you should mix 3 tbsp of it with the coffee and put sponge fingers in. :)

  • In culinary school a girl i was grouped up with for a group test used 5hrs to make tiramisu from scratch... she failed.

  • @XlSilverTonguelX It's not important. You can make 50/50 as well. :) I personally put all the sugar with the yolks and only a pinch of salt to the whites when I beat them. This way my cream for tiramisù results more like a mousse and I love it like that.

  • I love your video!! it's so helpful. I tried making this yesterday & it tastes gooood but it didn't look like yours. my egg whites didn't come out fluffy- instead they were liquidy & foamy. can you tell me how to make the egg whites come out more like yours please. -hopefully next time mine comes out less like pancakes & more like tiramisu :)

  • yo u must be really good at making teramisu cause i tried making mine lol and it turned into a pancakes lol the next thing u know it tasted awful lol and idnk how long u been in the kitchen but it takes years to master this cake and u did it in like idnk what ure background in cooking but u good ;) congrats men

  • @SidneyLeee without coffee is not a tiramisù..:-) anyway I am italian and I don't like coffee too ,but in this cake the taste of the coffee is not so hard:-)
