I agree that it is no iPhone but it is a very affordable alternative to it. If I could afford AT&T's insane pricing for the data and SMS plans for the iPhone then I would get it in a heart beat. But since I can't then I'll happily settle for this. It is only $50 after a 2 year contract sign-up and mail in rebate vs. the iPhone's $199 for just 8GB. Defiantly getting this phone when I finally switch over to Verizon.

I love the Dare. i am going to get it. I have a question though... what is that like white outlined guy on teh screen. it was on the dare i saw at verizon too but i was wondering what it was. Can you turn it off. Is it just like decoration?

The white outlined guy is just the backround that comes with the phone. you can change it to a different animation or just a picture that doesnt move at all from your picture album or a picture that u draw on the phone
