I have loved this so ever since the first time I heard it. I didn't know what it was about but there was something about it that just hit me like "wham". I always wondered and tried to research what "el farol" means but got nowhere until today. It came from a real raw place. That's why it speaks so much to me. I love that it's so emotional and organic. What better way to honor the memory of someone you love than through song if that's your craft

Start with the cool socialist stuff, then ease them into all that horrible crucifixion ordeal. Whew! HELLO?!? Can some one find me one religion that does not have some kind of violence at is core?
