Kraftwerk is the original creator of all these funky beats, baselines and rhythms. Kraftwerk is the creator of electronic music. Kraftwerk is even still relevant to this day. If it wasn't for Kraftwerk, electronic music as we know it would not exist.

@psychofred2 All house music came from disco. As a matter of fact , in Chicago ( where I'm from) The term "HOUSE MUSIC" was the music from the 70s&80s before anyone knew of house music. Later in the early 80s when tracks came out (the "new" house) House music (disco funk soul) became known as Deep House! Again, before House music was known. Even before Chicago mainstream knew about House music. it was kept underground until mid eighties, then the term House music reached NY and other cities.

When I was age 15-16 and a few times when I was in the Marine Corps at age 20,I went roller-skating and they were playing this cut. I remember this song from the year 1980. I was 12 years old. With all due respect to the Rolling Stones with Mick Jagger ( whom are one of my favorite rock bands for a black man( no racism intended at all.
