  • Awesome stuff dude. I've missed your cooking videos. Amazing looking ribs, I'm sure Hallsy would approve heavily!

  • @Cenotaff Thanks my friend! I look forward to having time for cooking video's! nice to hear somebody misses them.

  • Great job Jimbo , he was all you said and more , a great human being , He has left a giant footprint on this earth and will be sorley missed , RIP HALLSY

  • @bowhunter2439 Thank you my friend! It took awhile to be able to make this and when I did I wanted to share the highlights of some of Hallsy I knew. A great man in deed worthy of remembrance!

  • Great video! I'm planning on making that round-up! Keep up the good work my friend. R.I.P. Jason. "Thumbs up"

  • @sd4547 Thanks! Glad to hear it looking forward to cooking with you and many others! Pretty sure I can round up some BBQ's for those who can't fly theirs in...

  • @JimboJitsu Rounding up some BBQs for folks flying in would be great. Some airlines frown on folks trying to get a Weber in the overhead bins.

  • @TangoSpiceCompany I hear you my friend, and it took my wife awhile to realize it when I told her what you said... But they won't fit, maybe they tiny ones... lol

  • Great tribute and fantastic video! The personal notes are super. Actually, this video just showed up today in my updates and I am very glad it did. As a relative new owner of a larger kettle this is more great info. Bravo on an excellent video! The throwdown in May sounds super amazing as well, I will keep an eye out here and on the Brethren Forum. Take care man.

  • @TangoSpiceCompany Thank you my friend! It is what I have learned from BBQ'n several times a week this year. Never used a kettle before this year... I hope you can make the throw down, it would be an honor to have you there.

  • Thank you for the video, loved the stories.

    R,I.P. Jason Hall (HALLSYSKITCHEN)

  • Thanks a lot...Ive had a Weber for 2 years ....but always could use another set of eyes on how to control the fire.

  • @danieljh You are welcome thanks for the kind words! I just got mine this year and first time I used one but I BBQ a lot and always try to figure things out. Recently during the summer weeks we have had I am having a problem cooling it down enough for the low and slow.

  • @kadensgrandpa08 Thanks for the kind words! My goal was to make a 5 minute video but that did not turn out.

  • There goes you tube, not informing me of what my subs are up too… I'm glad I stopped by.

Fav'd this video. It's great on 2 levels. Most importantly, for Jason! I loved the personal stories, I think we all have many.

And, this video is super informative, especially for the beginning pit master. In fact, I think that when someone asks certain questions about this n that, I'll send 'em a link to this video!

    Great work my friend!

  • @SmokeyGoodness Thanks friend! Odd about YT I even sent this out as a bulletin. I was amazed when I was editing it that I had so many tips to share and I just got the BBQ this summer... But you know how I am lets get to the bottom of what is going on and how to make it work for me... Hallsy was a great guy and I think he would have really appreciated the video, it took several weeks for me to be able to do it without breaking down sobbing... I still got choked up.

  • This is such a nice tribute video - RIP Hallsy :(

I have missed your cooking vids - I would love to see some more of Angies recipes - I just love the Filipino adobo and the garlic rice - I make these often :)

  • @AsianCookingmadeEasy Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoy the dishes, I will add them to my cooking. I hope to bring back Foodie Friday in Nov. And I guess we will start with some more Filipino dishes! Thank you my friend!
