  • isnt there a milwalkie engine inside the repair shop

  • Yes, there is a Milwaukee Road F-unit in the repair shop. It's currently painted as Milwaukee Road#83-C but when it's done its going to be renumbered to 72-A. It's almost ready mechanically but it needs a lot of cosmetic work.

  • 72-C

  • That F's horn sounds very proud. Did Monon engines have the same horns? If they did, they sounded awesome.

  • I don't know if they had the same horns or not. 83-A was actually built for the Milwaukee Road as 110-C if I'm correct. But yeah it does have a pretty awesome horn!

  • If that's the original horn that the Milwaukee Road units had when they were operating on the Pacific Extension through Idaho, Montana and Washington State.......damn!

  • Where's the railroad sign for cars to stop?

  • I didn't have the sign in the picture but its there. There are no lights or gates at this crossing unlike busier crossings.

  • I was working on this train. I was in coach 7 the engine on the south or the black and gold, just broke down on the seventh. It did not have any air pressure. They had to use a different engine on the south end
