@Bcdeano Yes they're having problems with the site still and they're trying fix it I have placed a link in the info from softpedia and use their mirror to download it
you can do this manually by going system - library - coreservices - dock - show package contents - contents - resources - alter the scurve files. these are the ones that are the dock.
@ultimatecpengyfans I never tested this out and I don't think it can even change the 10.6 dashboard's dock to something better try restoring original dashboard dock. Or the app completely crashed?
@rokwilstr I'm little bit confused you mean like have the minimized window in the dock? the only way to have the window in the dock is by going to system Preferences and going to dock and checking off Minimize windows into application icon. but if this is not what you mean sorry I gotten confused.
@SuperCrazyTaxiDriver no i meant like having windows full screen and so that the dock is unseen but not offscreen, i don't really know how to explain it but i remember being able to o it in os 9
@rokwilstr I think isn't way of having the windows full screen so the dock is unseen the dock prevents this from being hidden when the window is full screen google up megazoomer and this cool extension will make the dock unseen but not offscreen
@SuperCrazyTaxiDriver cool thanks, it sounds like what i want to do, but i downloaded it and read the readme.txt and downloaded the simbl thing and did everything it said to do but it dosnt seem to work? i cant figure out how to make them go full screen i press command+enter/return but it does nothing?
then after it's turned on and gives the login text input this killall Dock and it should work, this is the only way to turn on the frame behind the mouse over option.
Once again you're welcome if you need any terminal commands to unlock hidden settings within 10.5 or 10.6 Feel free to PM me here and I'll read the PM when I have the chance.
Is there something wrong with the superdocker site? I tried to go to it and its not like the one in the video. Thanks

@pabsw I know that and you have to make sure you have the original files before replacing the looks of the dock or you'll be screwed.

for some reason, the "draw frame behind icon on muse over" option in the stacks doesnt work for me
guitarbass95 2 years ago
This will work on 10.5 and 10.6 try this terminal command
defaults write com.apple.dock mouse-over-hilite-stack -boolean yes
then after it's turned on and gives the login text input this killall Dock and it should work, this is the only way to turn on the frame behind the mouse over option.

oh my god! thank you! it worked. you earned yourself one internet and a subcriber

you're welcome I tried it myself and it's a bug in the program and it doesn't work as it said to do. Terminal is my option to on and off.
SuperCrazyTaxiDriver 2 years ago
can i turn it on or off now from superdocker? or do i have to do it in terminal? what is the off command?
guitarbass95 2 years ago
You'll have to retype defaults write com.apple.dock mouse-over-hilite-stack -boolean yes and replace yes with no
