I bought Cherie's book online. It was pretty expensive, and only 6 copies available on the net. It was a sweet little read.Unfortunately,it was written rather self-consciously, as if Miss Cherie was acutely aware her neice and son would read it. I kind of admire that, though. I happily did without the dirt, so Cherie could have her respect. She's a true hero..
Oliver - it was originally written as a "young adult" book - the kind you would see in a jr. high school library. She later rewrote the book for an adult audience.

she's so lucky she got a talented actress to play her. fanning was brilliant in The Runaways.
while the director had to keep cutting Stewart, as they always do when given a lousy actor. so Steward created this physical charicature of Jett.
poor Jett. the movie has an "impression" of her.
