What is the reasoning behind these gaudy jubilation? This lack of understanding of issues by the citizenry is dangerous to economic development. The mayor has been charged of a heinous economic crime, for crying out loud, and supporters are pouring into the street to celebrate his release on bond. Who are they going to blame when they lose a loved one, God forbid, and they get told that their loved one has to share a grave in Langata, because Majiwa ate the money meant for a new cemetery?
whats wrong with some people..this guy stole money from the public..a clearly corrupt and inept individual who lined his pockets from the public coffers by stealing from the dead and yet some people think its appropriate to go and cheer for him..would they rather be out there looking for their riziki instead of idling around to cheer for a thief!!? sometimes i think you have to be a thief in kenya for people to love you!!
Thieves cheered on by poor masses. I mean there must be something very wrong in the heads of some Kenyans. Really, even if Majiwa lala stole, he ate alone while some idiot is busy sleeping hungry in the slum. Then they come out to cheer him. I am ashamed to be Kenyan.
Who are the idiots supporting this person who has stolen to them??! They are either his fellow thieves or som ignorant idee youth who received ksh50 each to come there.
Shame on you Majiwa, you should resign asap...no wonder your style suddenly started changing na ngozi kumetata, yaani you are a thug. Though this is not uncommon with most mayors. There is a sitting MP whose dad was a former Nairobi mayor and he vanished with the mayor's golden chain. It was never recovered....
What an ignorant population. Let the guy carry his own cross. Some of the people cheering live in slums, the money that goes to corrupt individuals should have been use to better their lives. A society will progress only when the populations understands their rights and educated enough to know what is right and wrong. I am not supprise some of these people have been bribe to come and give support. These mayor is a total failture to the people of nairobi and kenya as a whole
Extremely sad to see Kenyans cheering this guy. If they think he is innocent why can't they wait to if the law will set him free. I will not be surprised to find that most of these people are from his ethnic background as the usual practise is "our man is being finished". What a dark history in Kenya.
sad to see Kenyans celebrate the corrupt even as they complain of government inability to provide services. We are our own enemies. I expected a booing crowd not a celebratory one
Are you sure this is a criminal? Did he steal money belonging to the Kenyan public? So why, pray, are they treating him like a some sort of hero? With this kind of example I see no reason why all young Kenyans should not aspire to be thieves!
Kenyans are warthogs... the BOND was paid by ODM! waaaat a fuck!!!!

Mudavadi should save us from this embarrassment, if he has the powers to sack the Mayor expeditiously.
