There is sunburst gymnastics on Rahway ave, union New jersey, USA that holds adult gymnastics class. Most people in the class are over 20 years. I just learned to do flips.
man, where do you guys train at? I'm trying to find gyms to learns flips & tucks in socal...but they're all gym for like high schools kids...are there gymnastics or 20+ guys?
You guys have flips down but your form is sloppy! you'll flip faster and easier if you tighten up your form. Especially on your back handsprings - you're basically muscling your whole way through it (Which doesn't give you near as much backward momentum).
@888167 The spring floor is to protect our knees! IDK if youve ever heard of jumpers knee or tendinitis, but with frequent tumbling you get it in your knees & it kills the life span of your tumbling to do on hard floor. Spring floor saves your knees & prevents a lot of injuries!

@strengthproject you are in fantastic form, quick and fast. Practice your ginga. You chin is exposed and you can go down in a split seconds vs. a real capoerista.
Also your folha seca is bad but with your form you can get is down quickly. Congratulations
Push through your shoulders.. practice standing up looking in a mirror.. Put your arms up.. you see the space between your ears and your shoulders.. push your shoulders up and make that space go away.. you hold your shoulder up to your ear through the whole trick and your arms will go straight...
actually, just straighten out your round-off and your handsprings will improve dramatically. Also are those front-tucks @ 0:46? It just looks odd when you tuck your head to the side slightly.
I was just wondering what are the odds that an average joe (okay maybe not so average, a 6'7) could learn to do all this without fucking something up?
I've had some Capoeira lessons at school :P I envy you guys. I just couldn't do anything :P perhaps because I just don't know how to work with my legs. Still you must have some strenght to do it aswell but that wasn't realy my problem :P

When ever you had a SKILL there's always someone trying to bring you down cause they WISH they could do it. Keep doin what you're doing man, you look good.

@jaw141 getting 'ripped' is basically a way of saying low body fat. Eat low calories high protein diet and do lots of aerobic exercise and you will get 'ripped'.
