  • OH LOOK I GOT A NICE LCD DISPLAY.

SO I CAN TELL YOU HOW NOTHING IS WORKING. SO YOU CAN SPEND ALL DAY BUYING MORE SHIT TO REPLACE.

PEICE OF SHIT. LOOKS LIKE A COFFEE MAKER.

And really GOOD AT CLEANING CLEAN WATER.

STICK TO EHIEM. Never leak pretty easy setup. Look nice.

  • I bought the G6 less than year ago, and I only use it on my fresh water tank, less than one yeart I already paid $30 for the impeller, $60 for the pumb, and $60 for two cartridges. STILL I have the warning sign keep telling me low flow. I really have no idea what to do to fix this low flow problem, as I read the menu over and over again, can't see what I done wrong. I dont suggest anyone to buy this stupid filter at all :(

  • The only reason its expensive is cause of the high quality China computer and LCD screen! You all know its rare to have a good China computer chip! This is priceless! =D

  • Hmmmmm ... considering the most important part of any filter is the bio filtration performance lets see what the Fluval G6 has compared with its #1 rival the Eheim Pro3 2078e .....

The Fluval holds 4 liters of biomedia

The Eheim holds 8 liters of biomedia

I know what I'd rather have in my tank ......

  • tats expensive

  • I think I'll stick with my FLUVAL 205 had it for two years no problems. I will never spend $430 for a filter. the G6 is like $500!!! WTF

  • @workensmart The G series is by far Fluval's best system yet, I'm planning on getting it soon for my RES turtle tank.

The new cartridge design blows everything else on the market away imo.

  • @SteveCrothers I don't know man my 205 is a good filter its easy to clean and I only replace the filters once every year

  • @SteveCrothers Personally, i agree with 'workensmart', the G's are good bur are only good for keeping discus or brackish water species. And as for keeping coldwater fish or cichlids the new mechanical cartridge is crap and just clogs up, it cant handle the large amounts of waste. Stick to the old ones for that sort of thing.

    Not for every one.

We have this display at work and the bloody container keeps leaking! were on our third one!

    Sorry Hagen.

  • @SteveCrothers go and buy this awesome piece of shit

but if u knew what a good filter is go and buy an eheim pro3 for the same price

  • cant play vedio.

  • Jeez oh man. How much will this advanced PS3 cost? I'm stickin to the Fx5, reliable and I know it works. The last thing I want is a leak to ruin the carpet eh. I'll think about buying in 3 years, once the price goes down and the kinks are worked out.

  • Will this keep my 55 gallon turtle poop free better than my 405 or will it just cost me more in media for a fancy display?

  • @cory1337 For turtles you'll need an actual wet/dry system with an overflow. The poop is something that you'll have to wait until it breaks up in the water for the filter to clean :(
