I've heard so many covers of this song and I think this is the best. it sounds very fresh and exciting! I love the way she sings it.

Of all the covers I've heard of this song, I think I like this one best. The backing instrumentals are of similar feel to the original, and Branch seems like she's actually trying to inflect the lyrics like Bowie did. Faithful all around. :)

She certainly doesn't come across as sincere and dramatic sounding as David in her voice but not bad.

He has so many great songs from the 70's it can be challenging enough as it is to decide what song of his to cover in itself.
