ITVs other rendition of this novel (an 180 minute version from 1980) is also available on youtube if you want to see a version that is much closer to the original Christie novel. I prefer that one, but still there is some elements in this Marple-version which I also like.

Oh man... the other Why didn't they ask Evans is more true to AG's writing and it's much better... I HIGHLY recommend looking it up.

@sleepyfish Thay's probably because it's a truer rendition of the novel. Once again, PBS has decided that it knows better than Dama Agatha and is screwing around with plot and character. Miss Marple did not appear in the original novel!

@athaliya This kid playing Wood did some acting even before HP, he was a rather talented child actor. He was in The Winter Guest directed by Alan Rickman (prof Snape) and with Emma Thompson (Trelawney) in a major part.
